I hadn't been in several years so the bangers & mash was quite different this time. Not the usual I was used to seeing & too large, honestly. I couldn't finish it all & the steamed veggies were "ok". I'd rather just have more of the mashed potatoes instead. Server was very sweet & attentive though.
I absolutely love this place every single time I come in! The staff are so kind, and absolutely friendly. The environment is vintage, but clean with a modern element. This restaurant is fun, it’s easy, it’s inexpensive, and it’s top tier casual dining all at once. The food is above standard, with plenty of variety, all met with consistency. One of my favorite spots! The food is fantastic (Shepherd's pie, bangers, and mash, and the best apple turnover with vanilla ice cream I've ever had!). The people that work here are fantastic, special thanks to Joe and Wes for always making us feel like family!
