Maybe this is just because I’m a visiting Midwesterner and my pallet isn’t that refined, but this is hands down one of the best Greek places I’ve ever been. I could tell everything was fresh and local. Amazing food. If you like Greek food this is a must see.
I had the Lamb Gyro, oh boy. A lot of food, meat was perfectly tender, the fries were not soaking in grease. My girl had the burger which too was crafted beautifully with the taste out of this world. The staff was super kind and attentive, our waiter especially was very polite, funny, and made us feel at home. Great food, Superb customer service, can't wait to go again.
Amazing food and service. Authentic Greek beers and great prices overall. Will definitely be back!
Really just not that good. Spent 50 bucks for an appetizer and two main dishes. Ordered the chicken plate and got maybe 2 ounces of chicken. Everything was oily and the pita bread tastes like it was frozen most likely. Not trying to be harsh it just wasn’t that good. Nick the Greek is a much better place to get Greek food in SC. Step it up.
Chicken Gyro so tasty, enjoyed the cumin seasoning on the fries. Staff roman emperor’s costume looked really authentic. Plan to return soon.
First time here for me. 20 yrs since my wife was a regular here. Like she told me, this is the best Greek restaurant in California. Highly recommended. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great smells, excellent food, large portions and tasty leftovers.
Service great, food just below average, portion size good. Post-lunch rush meal on a weekend during covid.Good amount for the money - was full at endof meal so good for a college budget - but flavor was off for both of us. Spanakopita almost inedible that day (I make at home so am a fan).Service and portions yay, flavor nay.
Not much atmosphere, but the food is good.
Vasili's is the best. The saganaki, the tzatsiki, the greek salad with the best feta cheese. And Gage was our wonderful server, super attentive and friendly. Drove down from San Francisco to enjoy this gem.
Highly recommend the Moussaka. Very tasty. The salad that comes with it is legit. It includes a variety of olives and is so fresh!

Still the platinum standard for tzatziki, even after 30+ years and an ownership change.I would give my firstborn child for the exact recipe, as I've been chasing this dragon for a decade now.
The food was really good, we didn't have to wait long, and the bathrooms were great. :)
Nice restaurant, Nice employees. Had a nice time there with my cousin
We loved this place so much we catered it for our wedding rehearsal dinner. The gyros and souvlaki plates are amazing. Our guests were raving about the food all night- the chicken, pita, and tzatziki are so good. Julie, the head chef is also the sweetest, loved working with her.
I ordered via phone for a choose your own vegetarian plate. It was ready in about 7 minutes. The portion was solid and the flavors were surprisingly good considering it was quick takeout of which little was probably cooked to order. I would definitely grab this repeatedly if I were back in the Santa Cruz area. Tabouleh, falafel, hummus, grilled veggies. All of the flavors were good, including the hot sauce (ask for it) and tahini.
