Online everything looked nice enough but the issues began when we arrived. The front lobby was freezing to the point where the manager was wearing a winter jacket. Then we were put in someone else's room. Luckily they were not there when we opened the door but we could tell they had been there since the room was full of stuff. Great classic drinks. Highlight of every trip to Santa Maria. Bartender is a great. If you like coffee try his Espresso Margarita.
This is my second visit to Santa Maria for work, and the second time staying at the Santa Maria Inn. I’ll start with the rooms, I’ve only stayed in the newer rooms (tower) and I love! The original rooms are older because it’s a historical hotel, so know that when coming. This hotel has it all, no need to leave, pool, 2+ bars, and a restaurant with great food.
