“We shared the Carne Asada Tacos and they were delicious! The meat was very tender and flavorful. I’d probably get the fries on the side vs in the tacos next time. Our friend had the beet salad with fennel, goat cheese, watercress, orange slices, Marcona almonds, avocado, and champagne vinegarette. It was also amazing!“
“Found out about this place 2 weeks ago. I've been here 4 times since then. I've had the chilli cheese fries, fat boy fries, western burger, and mushroominator. All of them were really good. Good food at a reasonable price. Takes a while to get your food but that's because they make it to order. The girl who takes your order could be more... energetic? ... welcoming? but the cooks who deliver your food have always been super cool. I'll definitely be back again.“
“We were on our way to Paso Robles from Los Angeles and needed lunch. This is a great area with a lot of solid choices. Wife saw Urbane Cafe as an option and I've eaten at another location before. We ordered the cilantro chicken salad and the tomato bisque soup and salad combo with 2 cookies and drinks. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly. There's limited indoor seating but options outside. Drinks are serve yourself and not standard choices. Cookies were delicious too. A great choice for a meal!“
“I really liked the experience here. To start off with unlike most bowling alleys they actually had my size and when the shoes came out they were in decent shape and clean. The bowling alley itself was a typical bowling alley experience. Not really much to talk about. Although they also have a couple billiard tables if you are waiting on a lane to open up which is a nice touch. The folks working here were nice and answered our questions pretty quick. The food here was way better than typical bowling alley food as were the drinks.“
“Food is incredible. Regretfully, service is dependent upon the server and unfortunately the time of day you go. Came in around 2:00pm. Servers were too busy doing their closing duties in the back, and never bothered to check up on us. Some were in eyes view, but leaning against the counter on their phones. Coffee needed refilling and water as well. (The coffee cups are small) I would encourage the servers to remember that service doesn't end once you drop off the food at the table. I like to use the "2 Bites, 2 Sips, 2 Minutes" rule. Also a visual walk around every ten minutes or so to see if drinks need refilling. I'm such an advocate of tipping 20% or more, but it's service such as this, that makes me want to draw a zero through the tip suggestion line. I'm not sure why I'm less important than the guest that came in at 10am.“
“This restaurant has incredible customer service. We had ordered food online and were not sure if it was being delivered. We had called to ask them and the nice man wasn’t sure either. Well, 15 minutes later they call me back informing that doordash has picked up my order. The employees just went above and beyond. That sweet man didn’t have to call me back and he did.“
“This place is nostalgic for me because I grew up in this neighborhood and remember when they opened. The family favorite is the pastrami burger/sandwiches and I cannot skip on getting the zucchini fries.Parking: The parking right around the restaurant is limited but you can park in the shopping center that is around it and walk.“
“It was a cute little place with good food and super nice owners. They were really patient while we looked at the menu, and so kind when they gave us our food, reading back everything to make sure it's correct. Really good food, I got the chicken lo mein, and the mint chocolate shake was delicious!! If restaurant owners see this: You guys are awesome! I'm a really shy person so I often can't say it, but I really want to say that your food is very delicious! My family and I are very satisfied. Thank you for the good service you gave us! !“
“The food is always good here and I usually get take out. To order take out you must do so in person not over the phone. My last meal it took them 6 minutes to deliver. Mcdonalds combos are only a few dollars less than dennys hamburger combos and dennys is so much better.“
“I got there late. They close at 3pm. I had a great BLT sandwich. Very fresh. Didn't care much for Potato Salad. But?? Pickles were great. The place is VERY CLEAN. THE OLDIES, BUT GOODIES, is great!! Ya, can't sit still!! These are Good Ole, Boys!! I like the quaintness of the place. The propiertor, says they are very busy mornings. Try it!!“
“We went on a Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food portions were big and the food was delicious. The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable for the amount of good quality food they serve you. We all had to get containers to take our leftovers home.If you're not a big eater &/or you don't want leftovers, they do offer smaller portion sizesDietary restrictions: They are accommodating I you have food allergies, digestive limitations, & other food dietary restrictions you may have just let them know. Our waitress was very nice, polite, & understanding.“
“Excellent food! I had the Korean short rib tacos, so good! Chatted with the person who took our order they made their own kimchi with less spice and a little sweeter than the usual recipe. It was soooo good! The person I went with had the Maple Texas Porkchop, and also raved it was one of the best. Planning to come back again. I really want to try their beet salad (they were out).Parking: Shared parking lot with other businesses.“
“My sister and I arrived at 7:15 on a Wednesday evening. Another couple was already at the hostess desk. There wasn't an employee in sight and I couldn't see anyone in the restaurant. After waiting a bit, the other couple went in the restaurant but didn't see anyone. I decided to call the hotel. They said they would transfer me to the restaurant. Then the phone began ringing at the empty hostess stand. Still, no one came. At last, the hostess came in the FRONT DOOR! No explanation but finally got us seated. From there on, the service was excellent. The hostess brought water and asked if we wanted drinks; we didn't. Our server, Juan, came promptly. I was surprised that bread and butter was listed as a $5 appetizer, but this was served with butter, olive oil and basalmic vinegar. Olives were baked in the loaf and it was delicious. We both ordered the short ribs and they did not disappoint! Served with mashed potatoes and broccolini, it was all cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert. The girl who brought it said it came from Cheesecake Factory. The presentation was beautiful. A mound of whipped cream beside the cheesecake with fresh strawberries and blueberries and a pomegranate sauce had us in heaven! Thank you, Juan, for great service and the insights from your 28 years here. So glad we stayed till the hostess arrived!“
“Every time I've been here, I'm impressed by how amazingly friendly the staff is. Which in itself would be enough for me to want to come back. However, their chicken is absolutely fantastic! It's so flavorful, perfectly seasoned and very juicy. I get the combo, which comes with rice, beans, pickled red onion (my fave), salsa and tortillas, and everything was delicious.“
“The staff was very nice, the old-fashioned was decent, and the western burger was up surprisingly good quality. I'm not typically expecting a great burger from a hotel restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised. The fries are also nice and crispy. It was decently priced for California as well.“
“We recently had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday Brunch here at the Century Room located in the Santa Maria Inn , Santa Maria CA. A fabulous experience awaits for those seeking a local buffet here on the Central Coast. Buffets here are not as prolific as Las Vegas, but the Century Room definitely satiated our desires. The ambiance is one of a more classic restaurant...white table cloths, seating in circular booths or tables with armed chairs for all, a fireplace and well lit paintings on the walls. Tasteful and sublime. To add to our experience, softly playing in the background was "Seriously Sinatra" music on Sirius XM...delightful! Our party of 4 was seated and to start the brunch off right, Mimosas were quickly brought to our table upon our request. Two rows of delicious looking offerings were presented for the taking. It was tempting to try all dishes...but even though the eyes are willing, we could only eat so much. Salads, Cheeses, Seafood, prepared Hot Entrees, Omelets made to order with your choice of ingredients, a Carving Station, as well as, a Dessert Table complete with a flowing Chocolate Fountain awaits all patrons. Although we agreed there wasn't a singular dish we would return specifically for...all the offerings were well presented, prepared and tasted good. The dining experience was completely satisfying and the service attentive. Everyone in our party, as well as, this Yelper agreed...on this occasion the Century Room in the Santa Maria Inn truly earned this "highly recommend" 4 Star review.“
“Love eating here. Been a few times and every time it is great. A hole in the wall type place with great southern food. The beef ribs are my go too and are a gem since they are hard to find in the area. The folks here are always super friendly and happy. This is a small family restaurant so it comes with a lot of charm and passion, but can be rough around the edges to some. The inky complaint is that the tri tip plate doesn't include a lot of meat in comparison to the other plates. Definitely will return.“
“The protein pancakes are very tasty and much like the multi grain pancakes once on the menu. I ordered scrambled eggs but received 2 undercooked eggs. However, the situation was quickly resolved. The restaurant seems busy frequently and is noticeably noisy.“
“There was a slight mix-up on our to go order. The manager looked into the order and fixed it without any hassle and gave us a dessert for the inconvenience.I don't get upset at honest mistakes, I just expect it to be rectified. This manager ( Jay) handled it very professionally.Great save!I love Red LobsterExspecially the Lobster Linguini!“
“PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! My partner and I saw that this place had high reviews so we decided to give it a shot. We realized there was a sign by the door that said they were closing early, so we started checking our phones for another restaurant. A staff member opened the door and said they'd be more than happy to serve us while they closed, we were shocked and asked him if he was sure, and he opened the door more to let us in. I ordered pasta and my partner ordered an omelet, BOTH were absolutely delicious and the service was so out of this world. We asked for the check while we ate since we did not want to keep them. The staff member explained that he would allow us to take our time because he didn't want us to feel rushed to eat. It was such a generous and professional gesture. I would definitely drive out here again to eat here. The service, food, and vibe is the BEST.“
