“Such an awesome place! I took my 2 year old son here on a Friday night to have pizza and check out the live music. We had a blast! Awesome vibes and the pizza was amazing. They even had a little play area for kids which I thought was pretty cool. Service was fantastic as well. All around a great place and I look forward to going back soon!“

“American host is the best cafe around and surely a Lompoc staple. I have been coming here since I was a little kid. Iv lived and traveled to many different places but this American cafe stays my favorite. The food is consistently delicious, the place is clean and welcoming and it has been that way for many years. Expect to wait for a table if you come on the weekend.“

“Calm and quiet during the week, even with a close passing train. The tide & wind mask pretty much the train noise, that's above the cliffs. So we'll see how the weekend goes. MLK weekend and all.The sunsets are spectacular.Vandenberg air base is not far, and they say they'll be shooting off a rocket tonight (well, 1 am) to place 22 satellites for Spacelink. We'll be able to see the blast off from here!Up the hill is the electric plugins.Below at sea level are nice spaces, but boondocking only, so be prepared to run your generator, and it's around the 30's at night, so it's cold.Day currently is sunny and nice with cold winds. Jacket, a must!We're going on a beach walk at low tide to see the tide pools and other cool stuff.There's a nice store on the property with friendly folks that's been here since 1974. Well stocked for a small store and is the home of the Jalama burger ? google it.“

“Food was great, had the Teriaki Chicken Salad & Black Cherry Shake. BUT cashier pissed me off. As I was paying for my meal via credit card he quickly offered to help, and with his slight of hand he gave himself a 25% tip, and completed the transaction for me. Once I sat down waiting for my meal i discovered the deception, I didn't fuss with it as it was a small cost to me, but the store lost out big time, cause I'm not likely ever going back.“

“Fun place! We absolutely LOVED our bartender Trisha! She greeted us with a huge smile and was super attentive throughout our meal! You can tell she's very loved as every single patron wanted to chat with her. She definitely knows how to talk and work at the same time. She was busy! We grubbed down on some tater tot's, sweet potato fries, a small salad along with virgin micheladas. It was all so yummy with huge portions and very reasonable. We will definitely make a stop the next time we're in town!“
