I wanted to like this coffee shop. The service I received was fantastic and the atmosphere was tasteful. However, you can tell a lot about the quality of the actual product by their house brew, the Kickstand. The coffee had almost no flavor at all, tasting like a little coffee was added to a whole lot of hot water.

At $4.50 for a small cup I would anticipate that it should at least have more flavor than McDonald’s coffee.

I would like to thank Juniper for helping me with my wrong branch coffee order and for giving me a new one. I’m very impressed with the staff at the 1919 Santa Monica branch for their assistance, and I will definitely come back again.

Coffee is some of the best in LA for sure. Staff are kind. Even made my daughter some latte art on her hot chocolate.

I enjoy coming here to work or just for coffee. Dog friendly as well.
