Tartine Santa Monica Reviews
Great pricy place for breakfast, fancy coffee, pastries. Lines out the door but was doable at 9am this morning on Labor Day Monday. Pricy, food was pretty, but taste was so so. Carrot teff cupcake (small) was very cold and hard-but again pretty! $48
Such great vegetarian options and I love how well the food is labeled for ingredients and allergies! The shakshuka was delicious and even better with a side of avocado. The chocolate croissant was also fantastic. It was nice to eat outside under the canopy of vines. If I lived closer I'd eat here all the time.
We liked their avocado toast (Avocado Tartine), although we didn't care for the weird flavor of the pickled carrot - give us a fresh carrot please! The coffees were very good and the atmosphere is west side chic. Quite expensive though, which is the only reason I don't give it a full 5 stars.
