I love that this sandwich shop originating from Italy is now in the US! Yes, some of the sandwiches are Americanized, but I’m totally cool with it because WE LOVE THE HOT HONEY TURKEY SANDWICH OH MY GOODNESS!
Had heard great things from colleagues, so I decided to stop in and see what the hype was about. While I was looking over the menu, the lady working at the time greeted me and even offered samples of a few spreads on bread, which was a nice touch since some of the ingredients were unfamiliar to me.
I ended up ordering a weekly special with prosciutto, arugula, artichoke cream, and stracchino, and added nduja after trying it and liking the flavor. The sandwich was delicious...read full review
La Summer is personally my favorite. The bread is fantastic and you can taste the quality in food. I wish the seating in the front was more private as many individuals disturb you while eating. Indoor seating is great though.
