I had a nice experience every time I went there (which was a lot within a two-week timeframe while I was visiting LA). The very first time, I was cold and hungry after a long run, and my Apple Pay didn't work. It was the only payment method I had available at that moment, so I decided not to order anything. The barista (a wonderful lady) insisted on making me a coffee anyway.
