Haven’t been to a rooftop in a while, so why not go to the beach during winter lol?!
Parking: They have valet at a ridiculous price $$$, or you can get lucky with metered parking spots around the area.

This place was such a vibe! My husband and I came on a Saturday around sunset to enjoy a couple apps and drinks. It's truly a hidden gem located inside the Sonder The Beacon hotel. The journey up to the rooftop is via an old style elevator which was super cool too & adds to the retro atmosphere.
The interior has a super cute aesthetic, very cutesy. There was a DJ playing fun hip hop mixed in with some edm & the outdoor patio was STUNNING, easily the best view in downtown....read full review
The Coco Club is a rooftop bar offering stunning views of the Santa Monica beach and pier. Located on the 6th floor of Sonder The Beacon hotel, it can be reached via an elevator that adds to the retro atmosphere. The space is medium-sized, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area provides a beautiful view of the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. The ambiance is lively with music, and the outdoor patio creates a relaxing vibe, perfect for enjoying the sunset and ocean scenery. The bar features reasonably priced drinks and friendly bartenders, with one known for giving great recommendations. The furniture is somewhat outdated, but the overall experience is enhanced by enjoyable music and, on chilly evenings, heat lamps and a fire pit. It’s an ideal place to celebrate with friends, have fun drinks, and take in the beautiful views. The outdoor seating is definitely a plus, making it a hidden gem for a relaxing and memorable time.
