Dolcenero Gelato offers some of the best gelato with generous portions and friendly staff. The simple counter service has outdoor seating, making it a nice spot for a cold treat. Try their outrageously large portions, with options to mix flavors in a cup. The staff is sweet and offers samples, and you can even get a mix in a small cup. Everything is made fresh in-house, and they use separate scooping spoons for each flavor to prevent cross-contamination. The flavors are vibrant and absolutely delicious, with a lot of vegan options and sugar-free gelato available. While some flavors may be hit or miss, the service is always good, and the outdoor seating area is a great place to enjoy your gelato. The cones are not vegan, but the portions are really big. This is a great place with cute patio seating, and the folks behind the counter take their time to explain the flavors. A real gem of the neighborhood.
