I was hankering for a good pastrami sandwich so tried this place based on the beloved reviews. Classic Jewish deli and everyone in there was enjoying themselves. Good sign. I ordered a half sandwich and it was divine. I wish the breading had held together better from the juiciness of the pastrami. Coleslaw was also pretty good. It was all super rich for my taste. Glad I only ate half cause a whole would have made my colon a rotting corpse.

Based on our many years of dining at Fromin’s, this has truly been one of our best experiences ever. Juan has been our server most of the time, and he is absolutely amazing. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and Juan’s attention to detail never goes unnoticed.
Manuel, who brings the drinks and helps take care of the tables, is also a total sweetheart. Everyone there is compassionate, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their customers. Fromin’s is hands down one of the best places to eat in Santa Monica, and we highly recommend it.
Servers were fantastic!, so friendly and professional Food was great, loved the pumpernickel bagel.

I discovered this place today and I was told it's been here for about 40 years or something like that. I went ahead and ordered the brisket dip and pastrami sandwich to see which one is better.
I love the hot dip and the meat was tender and juicy, it also came with fries and their ranch dressing was so good.
The pastrami sandwich also was very good. Portion wise, it's generous enough. They were both good!
