Great corner cafe, I was just passing by and decided to step in and I am so glad I did… I ordered a cappuccino and it was perfect, the coffee tasted amazing wow!
I also ordered the banana bread with chocolate chips and it was moist and so flavorful.

Beautiful relaxing place in a great corner!!!

I spilled my coffee in front of the door as I was leaving it, but the friendly and handsome staff made it again.

-Gnarwhal Coffee is a 100% top-rated coffee shop located in Venice.
-The drip coffee alone is superb in taste & quality.
-I highly recommend it if you consider yourself a coffee aficionado.
-I also enjoyed their toasted beef pastellilo, which flaked with each bite.

Overall, this place is booming so don't be surprised if you see a line out of the door & it's also a mecca for remote workers.

The customer service is terrible. You’ll wait 25 mins for an overpriced latte to go. The barista is condescending and rude.

I’ve been a regular now for about 4 years and for good reason. I can count on consistent quality every time. Nick (Owner) has created a welcoming venue staffed with baristas that make sure your order is exactly the way you want it.

Really poor customer service — which is critically important when you’re offering the same thing as a dozen other nearby businesses. The cashier was outright abrasive, while the baristas were only brewing conversation between themselves and not coffee for the swelling number of customers. Giving a star for the coffee being decent (although nothing earth-shattering). First impressions matter; I don’t see myself returning.

Seemingly popular neighborhood coffeeshop. Maybe it’s because the cashier didn’t see me tip in cash, they missed my order and kept serving people that came after me. I had to ask for my drink and even then the barista couldn’t get my order right. After all that, coffee is meh-tasted watered down and with no depth. Go somewhere else.
