We met a friend there before an early evening play. First time for all 3 of us. The menu is a bit thin, but if like what they are serving, it is as fresh as it can be and prepared with skill. We had the Cacio E Pepe pizza, and it was an interesting take on the variant. Next time (and there will be a next time!) I would go for the margherita pizza, instead. I missed the tomato-ey flavor. We also orded the zucchini blossoms, very nice, buit would skip next time to try another dish. Also ordered the roasted cauliflower, husband is in love with that dish. The best dish of the night for me was the Caprese salad. Great heirloom tomatoes, creamy silky cheese and very generous with the high quality olive oil. A nice big plate of yummy.
Big fan of Osteria del Fornaio. The pastas were perfectly prepares and served piping hot, the pizzas were thin crusted but held up as you picked up each slice. Everyone on staff was attentive and kind. Finally, the happy hour is a great opportunity for an even more affordable option to their already well priced menu.
We were all not satisfied with the food. The salads were ok. The pizza was very bland. We sent it back and we ordered the Margherita but it was also very bland. The pasta's were jst ok. Definitely not gna go back. It was a disappointment .
The pear salad was tasty however to much dressing and tossed to early leaving the lettuce soggy. The chicken was so dry, almost unbeatable, over a pasta which was to heavy and undercooked. I was offered something else however I had eaten the over heated bread and by this time not optimistic about trying anything else. They ran out of the cheesecake and offered a substitute which was not great. I would not go back.
Delicious food! Fantastic zucchini blossoms. The Caesar was fresh and crispy and the dressing was perfect. Pizza had thin, crispy crust and perfect to share. The chicken Marsala and the branzino were perfection. We will absolutely, positively go back.
Had the Crab on egg shell macaroni, from there specials menu. It was delicious. GF has the Spinach Ravioli with pork. It was bland and uninteresting. They ridiculously charged us $8 for chabata bread. They had a dessert on the menu, Semifreddo al vin santo, that was unavailable. That was disappointing. I had the berry cheesecake, it was good. There was a $5 inflation charge, wtf is THAT! Our server, Lily was friendly and attentive. All in all just OK.
The service was fantastic, but the pasta not so.

I've ordered take out twice from Osteria. Both times the pizza has been cold. Not sure why this is happening. I also ordered both times the fritto mistro and the spaghettini. Both were excellent and hot. The pizza was disappointing and bland. I won't order the pizza again. I live a block from this restaurant. It is disappointing that they can't get the pizza right. Management also needs to be monitoring these reviews and responding. Not seeing any responses from management. You guys need to start focusing on customer service and engaging with customers.

Genuinely the best service of my life; every employee we've ever spoken with was kind, attentive, but never felt like they were loitering. Amazing food, atmosphere, and happy hour!

My husband and I have been there a few times for happy hour and the food was always good. Unfortunately, I was disappointed last night. Our two appetizers, fried calamari and squash blossoms came out lukewarm and lacked flavor. Both were brought out super quickly, within minutes of ordering so they should have been hot. I can only assume they were cooked previously since the calamari was limp and not crisp and the squash blossoms had no flavor. The restaurant was wonderful in taking them away and not charging us! Our salmon and chicken marsala was better, but not wonderful. Service by Jacob was great!
We have dined here over 20 times and always enjoyed the food. However last night we invited our friends and We ordered chicken parmigiana and Cesar salad and pizza but the salad was just ok and the pizza was soggy not to mention the chicken tasted like old chicken. Hmmmm not worth the $189
This local restaurant is perfect for a Happy Hour ? $13 delicious things crust pizza and great cocktails/beers, plus they have non-alcoholic cocktails!

Weird 3 percent cost of living fee in tiny small text on the bottom of the menu.
