This is my favorite beach/ sunset view restaurant in Santa Monica. It used to be Loews Hotel but they closed down and reopened as Regent or whatever. But Terrazza is inside Casa Del Mar and everything on the menu is always delicious. My fave is the Caesar salad w salmon. I love the crispy skin. The service is on point and the staff is like family at this point. Jorge is my favorite person. 😍

I had a wonderful experience at Terrasa! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with a beautiful view and a relaxing vibe. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, perfect presentation, and great flavor combinations. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy a nice dinner and unwind. Highly recommend!

My friend and I went here for dinner in a Sunday night 🌙 and loved the decor and gorgeous beach views from every seat. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and even offered me samples of two red wines 🍷 to help me make a decision. I had the scallops entree and was so happy I choose this dish. It was fabulous 👌 every single bite. The sunset was gorgeous and both of us were so happy we choose to hace dinner here ❤️ Tammy D

Overall, the vibe and view from the restaurant was amazing! However, the food was mediocre and the service was non-existent. A few examples: we paid $50+ for oysters, and there was shell in multiple of the oysters. I've never had this happen before at any restaurant, much less a fancy one like Terrazza - the shell was so bad that I had to spit one of my oysters out into my napkin to avoid swallowing a bunch of tiny shell pieces. Our main courses were also meh. I had the crab benedict (asked for sauce on the side, this was not done), and the best part of the meal was the 1 spear of asparagus on the side. My husband had the lobster roll, and the best part of his plate was the fries. But the worst part of the experience was honestly the service - though our server was nice and promptly took our order, he essentially disappeared after that. I had to flag down other waitstaff to get a new napkin and more water. I also told our waiter at the beginning that I wanted to order a glass of wine when our food arrived, but he never came back to check on us (until I finally flagged him down for the check so we could leave). To his credit, he noticed the sauce was not on the side when he came over, but that was a good 30 minutes too late to fix. The food itself also took a very long time to come out - and this was when the restaurant was nowhere near capacity. Overall, if you're going for drinks/ambiance - I'd say go for it! If you want decent food/service, it's not at all worth the money.

Best brunch experience ever. All the staff was amazing . I chose this place for my birthday brunch and I enjoyed every minute of it. Had complimentary cake and ros€ wine 🍷 while we waited for our guest to arrive . Beautiful seating with beach view. Waiters were amazing and kind with great patience. Definitely coming back here. Valet parking is very good and affordable, u may have it valet at resturant. Very convenient service by hotel , didnt need to walk a block for parking. Few steps away from sand. Beautiful hotel and lobby design 😍

The atmosphere is beautiful. We called ahead of time to make a reservation for a seat by the window with views of the beach and the waitress gave the seats to 2 guests that didnt have a reservation right in front of us. it was rude and our reservation was pointless. Unfortunately, the food also did not taste good. Probably wouldn't go back .
