Nice place with fresh, delicious food. I had the tuna sandwich with a green salad, and both were fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, especially compared to similar places. I'd happily come back.
Pascaline is delightful and there’s nothing I can really fault them for except for not having espresso drinks, but Avid and Blue Bottle are basically walking distance so I can see why they wouldn’t bother. They have an interesting niche… they have a lot of crossover with Sarmentine and Gougette. Sarmentine has better laminated pastries and Gougette has better bread and tarts, but Pascaline has a more robust salad and sandwich menu… but if you want a salad or sandwich,...
A special place for a slower, happier meal. The pastries are delicate and buttery, and the bistro dishes are fantastic. I visited on a whim and ended up lingering because everything felt warm and inviting. If you love French flavors and excellent dessert, this place is a must.
