Amazing experience eating at Trattoria Cattaneo. One of my friends wanted some great Italian food so I took a drive from Emeryville. Everything was excellent and the portions were large. I can eat quite a bit and I had to have a box to go! Riccardo Cattaneo was a great host and I will definitely be back!
They made a brown butter pancetta carbonara around six years ago that has never left my mind. The best dish I have ever had that absolutely know else has made or attempted. You have officially ruined me. Genius I tell you!

Fantastic family atmosphere, and the food and service are better than anywhere else! I eat there every single time I’m in my hometown.
