It's Friday before the Labor Day Weekend.
Crew fuel orders flood in.
I get that. It ties up the phone as soon as the clock strikes 10am. I get that too.
But when I finally get through and order I was told it would be 20 minutes.
Seemed too good to be true.
I check in at the window first and was directed to the kiosk. I follow the instructions at the kiosk and come back to the pick up window. Now I am told it would be basically an hour.

Litterally at every Costco I have been to you can buy stuff from the food court before 10am if you have a regular membership. At this location you can not. Very disappointing.

The Costco Food Court offers good pizza that can be ordered ahead or at self-service stations, with options to buy by the slice or whole pie. The restaurant has plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and provides good value. While service can be inconsistent, the food is consistently delicious, with vegetarian options available. Unlike some other locations, the Santee Costco Food Court is not loud or chaotic, and it is well-organized with good signage, plenty of tables and chairs, and a clean environment. Customers often enjoy the food here, although wait times for pizza can be longer than initially told when calling ahead. Parking can be crowded at times, but the self-serve kiosk setup outdoors facing the sun is convenient, especially compared to other locations with no shades. Overall, it remains a good place to grab a quick, tasty meal.
