ABOSLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! We discovered the Habibi Mediterranean Grill tonight in Santee. The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. What really elevated the experience was the family behind it. The owners were there tonight working with their family, and you could feel immediately that this is more than just a restaurant. Habibi Mediterranean Grill in Santee is a restaurant where the food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. The owners work with their family, sharing their passion and flavors, and the service is good and caring. The food is delicious and unique with taste. Guests can sit outside on the benches in the front. The staff is nice and friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the overall vibe feels fresh and inviting under new management. The food is AMAZING, fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The meats are juicy and flavorful, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous. Bowls are more food than one could eat, with great flavors. The meat is well flavored, the portion is large, and it is a great value for the affordable cost. An extra kabob and Baklava can be picked up to go. This is the best Mediterranean food in all of San Diego County, a regular place for lunch or dinner, and the best kept secret in Santee.
