MOCHINUT Saratoga Reviews
Their stuff isn’t bad. Their donuts are decent but I’m not really a donut person in general so I don’t know how to judge donuts. Their banana matcha was actually pretty good. I don’t know if I drank it too slow, but towards the end of my drink it kinda had a strange flavor, maybe it got diluted from the ice. Besides that, the drink was good for the most part.

Lisa and her three sons just opened this Mochinuts store the day before I visited. I decided to upload pictures of them, and the six types of donuts I bought.
This was my first time having mochi donuts, and I'm not sure I like them better than regular donuts. But the service was great and if you are in the area, visit and decide for yourself.
Apparently, Mochinuts are gluten-free, and that may be important to some.

The service staff is very good.

Mochinuts Saratoga is a cozy, small restaurant that offers a unique experience with its mochi donuts made from sticky rice flour. The donuts are delicious, though they can be a bit too sweet, and are made fresh to order, which sometimes leads to slower service. The decor is eclectic, and the atmosphere is friendly, with kind staff and a fun vibe that includes a foosball table, free two-player video games, and a clean vinyl couch—making it a great spot to enjoy donuts and bubble tea while playing games with friends or family.
The menu features a variety of items, including their popular donuts, Korean corndogs, and popcorn chicken. The donuts are gluten-free and come in flavors like chocolate, strawberry, and sesame, with some reviews mentioning they are made of mochi flour and are quite tasty. The popcorn chicken is praised for its crispy exterior and good interior texture, considered one of the best in the area, though it is priced a bit high at around $9.33. The hot Cheeto corn dog with mozzarella is also a favorite, despite being messy to eat.
Service can be slow, especially since donuts are made fresh for each order, but the overall experience is positive. Visitors are encouraged to try and decide for themselves, especially since the place offers a different take on traditional donuts and a fun environment that stands out among local cafes.
