“I come by here at least once a week, the bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and the workers always treat you like family. It doesn't look like much from outside but it's my go-to local bakery. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.“

“We have been so blessed to taste Chari’s ensaymada since we moved to SoCal 2010. Chari’s ensaymada brings back Filipino family traditions[falling in line at 4am to pick up ensaymada in Binondo for Noche Buena - Xmas & NY]. Unang kagat namin mag-asawa, napaluha kami. We felt our grandparents and great grandparents looking at us from the heavens reliving Pinoy Christmas traditions. Mabuhay ka Chari. Nakuha mo talaga ang panlasang Pilipino. Mismo 😋“

“Is a Bakery. Is a bolillo bread they add carne asada cheese fried beans jalapeños you get your own salsa And you can choose your meat of choice This small business but gets pack. And is something we can all make but is something different. Not bad. With a Coca Cola glass bottle.“

“My wife wanted to stop by here to pick up a cake for her aunt birthday. This 85C is inside a big plaza so there are a lot of parking spots here. This store is small so be aware of this because they won't have as much pastries as other bigger 85C stores. When we walked inside, my wife went to see if they had the jalapeno cheese but they did not. We then went to look at their cake options and they didn't have much to select from. She ended up getting the strawberry deluxe cake and they give out a happy birthday sign and candles for free. The employee was nice during the interaction we had with him while ordering the cake.

“Take it for me a girl who grew in the Middle East. This is the best you’ll ever get to a Middle Eastern Shawarma. The food is served fresh made to order and is simply perfect. One Shawarma can feed two people, just a note. Inside can get a bit hot because the kitchen is connected to the inside dining.“

“I have no idea why this place has 3 stars. This is by far the best bagel deli I have been to. Genuinely every single time I come here, the staff is far too kind. “I wish I took a picture but I ate it too fast! Literally the best jalapeño cheese bagel ever! Fresh bits on jalapeño on top of the bagel so there’s a little bit of heat in every bite. The bagel sandwiches are big. I could have split it with my spouse and it would have been enough. Excellent service. Highly recommend.“

Service took an extra 20 minutes than expected. I did not seem to be the only one experiencing this. It has occurred twice. Looks like they are still working on the decor side of things. I still order often - I just make sure to add extra time to my actual pick up.“

“A quaint and friendly mom&pop donut shop. The donuts are nice and fluffy and my son is obsessed with their croissants. They dont have any particularly unique specialties but their selection is decent and always fresh. They don't offer peanut donuts, so people with allergies can feel safe getting their order here.“

“This review is for the service. The man who attended us had a warm and welcoming demeanor. He was very friendly. He was patient with my little ones who kept changing their mind on what donut they wanted. Great service and great way to start our day today. Both my kids walked out feeling welcomed.“

“Amazing food quality for the price.

You walk in and they greet you even though they are incredibly busy.

Even though they were busy, everything I ordered was exactly correct alinclusing the fresh juice.

They apparently make the Croissants and French Bread themselves which made the sanswhiches fantastic.

So instead of writing a review right away I decided to see if their delivery was as good

There was a hick-up on doordash not allowing orders of things without adding an option. I ordered anyways and let them know.

They actually called and expressed their deepest apologies that I had to deal with that... That is amazing.

I ordered the next day and the problems were fixed.

Each day the food came in as ordered and just as good as picking it up

The Donuts are fantastic, some of the best I have had in the valley.

I live a distance from them, but pay the extra 2.99 long distance fee just to get my morning breakfast from them at least 3 to 4 times a week as well as sanswhiches for later.

Just outstanding.

“I don't understand how this place stays in business, 2.5 hour line to pick up my pie. As soon as I got inside, finally I realized what the problem was. One register not enough people helping. No information at all until you walk inside. This place is in huge need of a remodel. I used to eat here, not anymore. They do gave good pies. Sewage smell outside on the south side of building close to entrance.“

“Worth driving a few more mins for. Premium price tag, but overall donut quality is great. Fresh and semi-unique with 4 different types of donut holes (great for kids to get a variety while not buying multiple donuts) nice presentation in a clear box.“
