“This is one beautiful place with colors, art and i think largest mural i have seen in sf, showcasing culture, i loved the vibe, food was tasty specially patatas bravas, short ribs, gambas, flatbread and drinks were just wow! very creative and tasty cocktails. great space for special occasions and groups.“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“Great food, great staff, upscale yet casual feel. Everyone can feel welcomed here. We needed a last minute reservation for a group of 6 for brunch. Coffee cocktails excellent brunch food have high chair and changing table for babies as well. loved their take on all the European food. Really friendly and helpful staff.“
“Incredible meal. Andy R was such a lovely and warm server. The atmosphere and décor were inviting. The star of the meal was the mushrooms on butter - trumpet, button, and hen of the woods. The oysters were great. The bone marrow didn't have the umami flavor I was looking for but was rich. The beet ravioli with ricotta, pumpkin, and pine nuts was full of unusual flavors. The desserts were all tempting, but we both had "La Sueur" -the chef's creation - with an intriguing combination of textures and flavors: a tart with lime, strawberry, Turkish delight, & meringue. A great night out!“
“Diving into the heart of Swiss tradition, this fondue restaurant transports you straight to Switzerland with its cozy ambiance and an impressive variety of cheeses and fondue types. From the moment you dip your first piece of bread into the velvety cheese, the experience is nothing short of magical.Fear not, no fondue journey is complete without indulging in the decadent chocolate fondue, a perfect finale that leaves you wishing the dipping could go on forever.A truly delightful experience that makes you feel more in Swiss than ever.“
“Been here twice now and both have been such great experiences. Welcoming and helpful staff. Took their time to recommend a bottle of wine. Food is delicious! We love their pasta especially the oxtail ragu, lamb shank just fell off the bone. Be sure to ask for the complimentary focaccia! Cute courtyard and beautiful setting inside too. Highly recommend!“
“We had a good meal but not great. Salmon and fregola was adequate but nothing spectacular. The ancient grains with salmon was good but would have benefitted from an increase in basic seasoning. Fish tacos were also good but the fish was over-battered and somewhat dry. Each dish lacked something that would have made them better than okay. Service was good but the booths are somewhat small and located next to the pickup station at the bar.“
“Cafe Europa left such a lasting impression on us that we've decided to return tomorrow before heading home to NC. Our experience with their authentic European homemade-style food and delightful service was so enjoyable that we can't resist one more visit. From the comforting borsch, flavorful schnitzel, and mouthwatering perogies to the tempting suggestion of their Napoleon cake, every moment at Cafe Europa feels like a warm embrace. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this culinary gem!“
“Providing an updated review since the Amsterdam moved across the street many years ago. Stopped in before a show at the GAMH...had a Pliny and a sausage. Wasn't expecting the most amazing sausage that I have ever sunk my teeth into but that's what I got. It was a chicken mango haberno I do believe with a pretzel bun, beautifully dressed and every bite was a joy. So good that I had another show to go to the next week and returned for another sausage...this time an italian sausage....same deal...so unbelievably good. Compliments to the chef (super nice guy)! In summary, get a sausage here...you won't regret it.“
“I've been coming to Essi for over 2 years and I absolutely cannot say enough about this place. My go to order is poutine (absolutely delicious!) and the chicken wings are the bomb! The guys are really knowledgeable about wine and always so welcoming!“
“recommended. tasty sandwiches and hot soups and a good selection of desserts and drinks. terrific server service-- very polite and efficient. importantly, they have INDOOR and OUTDOOR tables and lots of seats, so you can enjoy the nice weather outside or stay inside! and of course their art collection is nearby and their gift shop has lots of good stuff.“
“We had the best evening at Dita's! We were warmly welcomed by the lovely owner! The restaurant is modern and chic, the view is the best in the Bay Area, and the entire ambience is joyful and uplifting. We had delicious food : the ceviche was amazing .. little gems salad ... so many delicious choices on the menu ..it will be a place to return to to try others .. and then the music by Freddy Clark was beyond fabulous! This place is a new favorite!!!“
