We just spent an extremely pleasant afternoon, sailing with Team O’Neill and sampling Pelican Ranch wines. Next time we’re in Capitola (soon), we will be visiting the tasting room and bringing a few bottles home for sure!

Pelican Ranch Winery, nestled in the redwoods, offers a great setting for wine lovers. The owner, Phil, not only makes excellent wines but also delicious Bronx-Style Pizza. The atmosphere is enhanced by live music and a friendly crowd. With a range of wines from very good to excellent, priced between $30 to $65, it's a lovely spot for a nice afternoon. The journey to the winery might be a bit tricky with narrow roads, but the experience of tasting various Pinot Noir wines makes it all worth it.
