Cool little coffee shop/roastery. Barista was incredibly knowledgeable and recommended the mexican mocha. Delicious! It is a bit on the strong side for most so if you're the type of person to only drink Caramel Macchiatos, this probably isn't the drink for you.
Admitted coffee and pastry snobs, my wife I spent a night in Monterey on our way to our 30th anniversary trip to Big Sur. We were planning on going to Carmel to find our morning coffee. I did a quick search for something near our hotel and found Acme. I knew I would like it when I saw their van that said "resist corporate coffee". Great vibe, very polite staff, and great coffee.
