They served authentic Japanese drinks, had amazing food and service. The mango & fish sushi was unique to restaurant and was delightful. The waiter was so kind and when we had left and forgot our bags after we finished they ran outside to give it back to us!! This was a great dinner experience.

This place has a great Bento box and variety of sushi. The portions are big and it’s an excellent restaurant compared to the other ones I have been in Monterey, CA. Price very reasonable for what you get.

The restaurant also features unique items such as salmon and hamachi carpaccio and Maru hand roll plate. The decor has improved significantly under new management, making the restaurant brighter and cleaner, while maintaining reasonable prices. It remains a great choice for anyone seeking quality Japanese cuisine.
