“I went to Bada Kitchen because I saw all the outstanding reviews. I am sure sorry I did not make it to the restaurant sooner because it is one of the best places I have had on the peninsula.

I ordered 2 shrimp sushi rolls. With one of them I asked if they could make the roll “not spicy.” Bada Kitchen made it happen!!! Was a fantastic experience from start to finish!!!! I have already went back 2 more times since I first discovered this place!“

“It was nice but the beef/steak was too chewy I recommend chicken and some people brought alcohol from outside which I found interesting. That being said, it was a nice experience trying Japanese dishes with all halal options, workers were nice people and the establishment has great vibes.“

“We chose this restaurant because it was very close from our hotel, Embassy Suites Seaside. We ordered the Tanindon, Combo Plate with Salmon, and the Deluxe Sushi Plate, and everything was fresh and tasty.

The only complaint came from my child, who wasn't expecting wasabi inside the sushi and didn't like it very much. It would have been nice if that had been noted on the menu.“

“Absolutely must try sushi spot. I have eaten at very fancy sushi places and this place not only beats those fancy places but it does it at such a reasonable price. All the sushi we ate was fresh and big portions. We loved it so much we went back twice on our 3-day road trip! There is an outdoor patio so we were able to bring our dog which was a plus. Also shoutout to the service, it was excellent and the waitresses were so lovely and nice. If we ever pass thru again, we are 1000% stopping by.“

“This place was so good!! The service was quick, friendly, and excellent. The food was all DELICIOUS.

We ordered the firecracker roll, the Frankenstein roll, the green goblin roll, the ume shiso roll, and the pickled daikon roll. Everything was so good!! Usually when I go to sushi places some rolls are better than others, but everything we ordered was hit after hit. They served the rolls on a boat, too, which was such a fun surprise and my grandparents really enjoyed it! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — the rolls are very creative and different from other sushi places I’ve tried.

My brother had the udon, which was filling and delicious as well.

For dessert we got the tempura banana with green tea ice cream, and green tea ice cream. The tempura banana was so delicious, the green tea ice cream was not too sweet and balanced out the richness of the fried banana very well. I enjoyed it more than I expected to!“

“I enjoyed the food very much. I loved the tuna and yellowtail rolls, and the local King salmon nigiri, something I have never had before. We were asked to sit at the sushi bar I think because there were only two of us, and the tables were four tops. I was okay with that because I liked watching the chef prepare the sushi. There is a $40 minimum per person and if you have ordered too little, you will have a menu shoved in your face asking you what else you would like. It ended up being too much food but I ate it happily because it was all tasty. Just an odd experience. Service was a little brusque, overall. But I'm glad we tried it since there are only a couple of sushi restaurants in Carmel.“

The presentation is absolutely beautiful — every dish is decorated with so much care, and all the little details make the food feel even more special and delicious.

“5/17-26: Today I had lunch at teriyaki madness. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki bowl which came with white rice, mixed vegetables, and salmon which I made a Combo and ordered Edamame and a Large Fountain Soda all for $19.42😋. After receiving my order I put additional Teriyaki Sauce over all my food and used Siracha sauce and Kikoman Lite soysauce for a great tasting bowl. Thr Edamame comes in a little box full of flavor. The Edamame is lite salted and definitely give you plenty of them. Definitely great place for your protein and to get your Madness on!😋👍🤑“

“My wife and I will be paying a visit to the Presidio in a few weeks. We have many fond memories there from 1986/1987 when I was a Polish student and she was a Czech student, both of us U.S. Army. We met there and were married in Pacific Grove on our lunch hour. In our minds it's a magical place (and a superb language school) that expanded our horizons. We're returning to the U.S. after many years overseas.“
