“My son and I stopped by Kokoro for lunch, and we really enjoyed our meals. We started with the gyoza, which was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I ordered the teriyaki salmon box with salmon sashimi. The salad was fresh and light, and the salmon was a good portion for a lunch special. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My son ordered two rolls, including the fried California roll, and honestly, that ended up being my favourite! It was so tasty and had the perfect mix of flavors. Our waitress, Monica, was great. She was sweet, kind, and attentive. We had great food, great and fast service, and a really enjoyable lunch with my son. We would definitely return and recommend it.“

The only thing I would complain well is not complain it's more for safety reasons is child working there i definitely didn't seem like a family business I have nothing against kid's helping but for a restaurant like that it's not ethical my nerves where at edge that he would drop something or cause and accident kid's should stay kid's and honestly it doesn't look professional for a restaurant that seems like it has high demands it's just for safety reasons it dies seem concerning but the food was amazing 👏“

“Picked up the Sushi Special and Zaru to go from New Tokyo Restaurant in Marina, and it hit the spot.
The service was incredibly fast and friendly right from the start. Both items were excellent—the sushi was fresh and well-prepared, and the Zaru was refreshing and perfect for a takeout meal.
It’s a solid, reliable spot when you want great Japanese food without the wait. Highly recommended!“

“I had the fried tempura plate, which came with a nice combination of shrimp tempura and fried vegetables. The tempura was golden, crispy, and flaky with every bite, and the vegetables were well-balanced and not overly fried.
The soup that accompanied the meal was delightful, light and not over-seasoned. The rice was fresh and well prepared. Overall, I really enjoyed the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent, friendly staff.
