This place is really wonderful. I had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got the chance. The first thing I noticed was that it just felt classic, and pleasant inside. A warm welcoming, and older but very clean and well taken care of buildout. I wasn't sure how the food would be, but the first impression gave me a sense that they cared. The best Cajun food I've ever had ! Tried the gumbo and the blacken chicken sandwich, had the big easy (hamburger) available only on fridays , the sandwiches are great any size you get week without it . The lunch specials are always great , the waitress is awesome , she has always attended us with lots of respect and courtesy! I will always come back to this place ! This is a tiny spot that comes with a few caveats, such as closing earlier than posted hours, being out of dishes or ingredients (all three happened during our visit). Not the cleanest environment ever, but nothing that made me uncomfortable, and I'm a neat freak. The food! The food is great.
