Great little hole in the wall Chinese food place. Quick service, great food, a mix of Chinese-american and for authentic Chinese dishes. I had the roast duck wonton soup and it was excellent. 👌 They even gave me a free appetizer (Crab Rangoon).

The owner is wonderful and we had a lovely lunch experience at Jim’s! It felt like eating a home cooked meal made by a mom. We left feeling very happy and satisfied. 10/10 recommend for casual dine in or take out!!

The food was delicious and authentic. Similar to the taste palette in Guang Zhou china. The owner lady might be cantonese.
Was craving for this taste after spending a week in the US.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The staff was very friendly—and that’s the only good thing I can say.
All the furniture in the restaurant was sticky and tacky to the touch… absolutely gross. The food was unbelievably bad. The beef in our dish had a strange, off-putting flavor. My best guess is that it came from one of those discount meat suppliers that resell expired or heavily marked-down meat from grocery store surplus.
The rice, the noodles—everything just tasted awful. We each tried to force down a few bites out of politeness, but neither of us could finish more than that. I stopped eating altogether because I genuinely felt that continuing would have made me sick.
I don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. I suspect they’re manipulating their reviews—whether it’s through paid positives or having negative ones removed, I can’t say for sure. The walls are plastered with awards, but all of them are from 10 to 20 years ago.
Maybe the food was good back then. But now, they have no business serving what they’re serving. I seriously doubt they’re meeting even the basic local health standards.
You can get MUCH better food from Panda Express down the road.

Fantastic food, it just fell (slightly) short on service and atmosphere. I didn't expect anything over the top at a casual place like this, but the waiter forgot our waters even after the first few dishes were brought out. The tables weren't wiped off very well (I saw someone haphazardly wipe ours before we sat, but still had bits of food sitting in front of me). There was a big clutter of boxes and utensils lining the wall. But they took into account that there was a vegetarian in our party and even gave us some free veg-friendly appetizers! All of the food was delicious. Seems like a great place that just needs more room to expand to allow for more seating and storage that's out of the way of the dining area.

This restaurant is so unsanitary and too expensive. the food we got had hair in it and the kitchen is so dirty. The bathroom is located right beside the kitchen and the place is really old. Also the water tastes weird.

Hole in the wall, long time Vietnamese Chinese food place. Food was good, service good, if taken out the experience might have been good since seating was not conducive.

Amazing place “hole in the wall” but well known. First come first serve. Amazing service and staff. Can get busy so expect to wait during peak hours or do Togo. Large portion. Family run, if you can eat here do it. Might be tight for large parties, might have to wait. Parking is free but available around the side, if the front is full.

This place is an unassuming, no frills spot that happens to serve the kind of homey Chinese food you crave that hits the spot (as an American born Chinese). The service was so friendly, felt like I was being taken care of by a family member. Definitely recommend this gem when you just crave really good Chinese food

This place is amazing! All of the folks that work there are so wonderful and the food is delicious. It really feels like you're a guest getting a lovingly home-cooked meal in someone's home. Our favorites are the beef clay pot and shrimp green beans! So grateful to have legit Chinese food in town.

Update - July 2025 from Jim's Restaurant Hello to all, We have updated the menu with more food options and a slight price increase due to significant rising food costs. The portion size (still large) and quality will always remain the same. We hope to serve you soon. -Jim's Restaurant
