It really felt like we were in Germany! I got meatloaf which was the special for the day
still recovering from the mouth-watering, feast-for-the-eyes and soul, plate-sized schnitzel. Put proper large beers in the mix and you have an experience you will take with you for decades. The service is world class. Go with family. go with friends. you will not be disappointed

German Restaurant Stammtisch is a family-run institution, celebrating 32 years of serving traditional German cuisine. This cozy spot offers a gemütlich atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or a night out. The menu features a range of dishes, including Hausplatte, Claudia‘s Hausschnitzel, Zigeunerschnitzel, Jaegerschnitzel, Stammtischschnitzel, and vegetarian options. Standout dishes include the Goulash, cream of broccoli soup, and pea/potato/sausage soup, paired with copious amounts of German beer. The meatloaf-special of the day, mixed assortment of foods, and sausage plate were pure joy, with the best sauerkraut ever. Desserts like apple custard and black forest cake are a must-try. This is as authentic as it can get when it comes German food, with absolutely delicious food and good German beer. Service was great, and the owners were very kind and worked hard to provide good service. The Gulasch with homemade Spätzle was great, and the portions are quite big. Reservations are a must, but the exceptional service and delicious food make it well worth the planning.
