Bar B Que Smokehouse Bistro

First off sides are incredibly small for price. Just robbery. Meat was over smoked and to be honest tough. My family is from Mississippi and I have been a chef for years. The good is as if heated in a microwave. For the price I'm not impressed. My sides with 2 sodas were almost 40 as much as my meat. The sides were in small coffee cups with no covering on the holes. Staff is nice and great environment just can't get past the food. I was in such high hopes

We love the smokehouse! Their greens are to die for. My favorite is the smoked chicken salad. So many great options to choose from. The atmosphere is charming and friendly. The customer service is excellent. We were heartbroken to hear about their closure and overjoyed to hear the smokehouse will live on.

Absolutely love this BBQ place! Between the personable staff, the quirky decor, and the beautiful garden, It feels like you’re at a friend’s backyard cookout - with really good pulled pork.

Disappointed - 3 undercooked ribs, not even warm. Room temperature. Will take home and finish cooking ribs…Macaroni salad meh. Slaw and biscuit ok. Nice woman at register. Not worth $26

Really yummy BBQ. Brisket was to die for, chicken was flavorful, beans were delightful.The flies were atrocious however. Next time, I'll bring a portable fan.

Definitely not worth $30 for a tiny sandwich that has soggy bread, mac, and cheese that was served in such a small portion. The only decent thing was the cornbread. But 3 items for $30??? They were serving us kid portions. There are a lot better restaurants around the area. They seemed annoyed as well. Don't waste your money prices are insane and food is bland and the portions are tiny.

I've lived in the south before and the Midwest so I've experienced this food for real. This place is pretty decent for Sebastopol. They put your food down on paper which means you will have paper shredding off into your brisket just d***** The prices are insanely high, I get that this is Sebastopol but I can fly out to new York and eat a meal twice as big for a 3rd of the cost and it even taste better too!Oh yea tons of flies they need to put up fly paper or relocate garbage etc.

We had a nice lunch at Bar B Que smokehouse. Food was good, service very friendly and the outside atmosphere was very nice.

Love the atmosphere. There was live music and the garden seating was wonderful. They were extremely short handed, 1 cook and 1 server. The food was quite tasty although my collard greens were cold and the Mac & cheese was only warm. Being understanding of the hard times and having been there before these newer times i will be returning.

This place left me disappointed with their meat. Their ribs were extremely dry, and unappetizing. Only good thing was their Mac and cheese and mashed potato’s. I even ordered bread pudding for dessert, but it was so obviously microwaved. Garbage

Solid BBQ meats with good flavors, tasty sauces and interesting WeSoCo versions of traditional sides, all served in an open air casual setting.We tried a small variety of items to get a taste of different meats and serving sizes. The rib tips were a starter that came with slaw and had a lot of meat that fell off the bone and carried a delicious smokiness. We also got a 2 meat combo that came with two sides and cornbread. The brisket paired perfectly with the sweet vinegar of the coleslaw. And the pulled pork was a good combo for the BBQ beans. The cornbread was moist but a bit dense and small for the plate. Flavors and serving sizes were goodThe place was short handed while we were there, the tap ran out on the beer I ordered, and they weren't sure if I paid or not when I left (I had), so it could be a bit more "together", but I would go back for meats and to try their other sides. For BBq, I thought it was reasonably priced.

Sauced in point, friendly service and delicious pulled pork. My son left the chicken wings.Authentic corn bread and a house honey butter for the win.

Love the Smokehouse. Real tasty food and real nice folks.

I really wanted to like this place more. I first ordered them when they still offered service in the Barlow. The chicken bacon Caesar wrap was delicious even though the bacon was too hard. I went back to get the same thing and they don’t sell it anymore. The woman working was really kind. I ordered pulled pork and the rib tips. The pulled pork lacks any level of sweet, it’s very one note (and the barbecue sauces are the same, none of them are very good). I didn’t hate it but I would say most BBQ is much better. The worst part though was the rib tips. For 11 bucks you expect them to be at least fresh, but the meat was literally dry and HARD and flavorless. Big bummer. I won’t be choosing this for BBQ next time. I hope they revamp the food.

We ordered food from Bar B Que Smokehouse Bistro for a surprise party with around 35 guests and had a really good experience. They were responsive and helpful in answering questions about the catering options vs. takeout (we ultimately decided to pick up two Jumbo Packs since it fit our needs). Everyone at the party enjoyed the meat (chicken and pulled pork) and sides (cole slaw, beans, mac & cheese, and cornbread). We realized afterward that some of the sides were missing from the order, but fortunately the Jumbo Packs are big enough that we still had enough food and the restaurant was quick to acknowledge the oversight and refund the missing sides.
