Extremely tasteful, in every possible way. Natural wine focused, bottle shop and wine bar in Sebastopol. Very welcomed addition to the community and supports/stocks a lot of local, smaller, winemakers in Sonoma county I had never even heard of. Natural wines means nothing to me - I wasn't sure why I should want natural wines so the appeal to go in was the openness that made it look inviting to sit at the bar and have a glass of wine. First thing that popped was an orange wine listing - also clueless there is orange wine - found out some compare it to the sour beers - tried a taste and liked it but the woman behind the bar suggested a rose I loved and bought a bottle. I have been a long time fan of The Punchdown in Oakland, especially after their 2022 James Beard nomination for "Outstanding Wine Program", so I was really excited to hear that they were opening up a new location in wine country, Sebastopol, Sonoma County.
