The place is really nice, reminiscent of the old fern bars, the staff is very friendly. We had a pisco sour as cocktail, it was just OK. Dishes were quite heavy. I believe the chef could go with a lighter touch on the butter.

This place is lively and is a lovely take on a seventies-style fern bar with joyful decor. We really wanted to like it, had spotted it on another trip to Sebastopol, and this time, made a reservation. The food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It's VERY heavy and greasy. The cooks just don't have a light hand, and it was a disappointment to us because, of course, there are so many great places to dine in Sonoma. A bit of a wasted evening on that score. What's more, we ordered a cocktail that felt as if it didn't even have any alcohol in it, which gave us the impression that the bar is holding back in order to save money. And we are highly susceptible to alcohol in it, so if we say it was very weak, I can't imagine what normal drinkers would say!

Just the absolute best drinks in town and beyond. True craftsmanship and creativity. Shout out to my swans! Tommy and Matty you’re not swans but I bet you’d be very good swans.

Went there for lunch. While the menu is limited, everything was well executed and delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Decor was so cute. Great place to stop by in the Barlow!

We went for a leisurely Sunday lunch and Jake made me my new favorite drink. He created it for me with only me telling him I drink vodka and wanted a tropical drink. I loved it! I'm going to call it the Velvet Paradise. It had vodka, pineapple juice, passion fruit, lime juice and orgeat syrup (think almond milk). Fruity, creamy and delicious!! Oh and the Smash burger were delicious. I forgot to pull out my camera, too busy enjoying the atmosphere and great food and drinks. I recommend it! And it's in The Barlow with so much going on.

The umami bomb was delicious! I haven’t seen an entree like this anywhere else. Flavorful with a variety of textures. Clearly marked vegan options

Went for dinner and the place is great if you want cute pictures, but the food and drinks were definitely not worth the price. The food was “different” but not in a deliciously memorable way. The rice tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of a pan and the dessert literally had no taste. Definitely won’t be rushing back to this place.

We shared the fries, lamb skewers and the umami bomb. Absoluetely delicious and enough for the three os us. Of course we each had a unique drink.

Delightfully diverse menu for food, wine and cock/mocktails. Fun atmosphere - we sat outdoors in the parking lot, which is nicely lit up - very fun for a group. We loved the lamb burger with enormous side salad, French fries with mushroom ketchup and aioli and the Umami Bomb with mushrooms, broccoli, shiitake "cream," crispy rice and nutritional yeast. Unexpectedly great flavors and friendly, prompt service.

We loved every dish. Nice to be able to share all the unique and delicious flavors. We especially liked the lamb skewers and kimchee pancake. If I lived closer I'd be there frequently!
