Me, my brother, and pops stopped by like a month ago on a road trip for my dog, one that brought us through that route and we stopped by, picking up some savory smoked salmon! It was a great experience talking with the owner and it left me with memories I'll cherish since not a month after our trip Brownie, the one we went on the trip for, passed away. Ansolutely stop by if your route takes you there or even better, plan your roadtrip route that passes you through the location!
Most amazing smoked salmon I’ve ever had. He’s open later in the summer - we came at 4:30pm and he was there but he might open later so heads up for anyone visiting from out of town. Also nudge the terrier is adorable!

It is smoked on local apple wood and is considered high quality and uniquely smoked. Visitors can enjoy a free sample and great conversation. The service is friendly and polite. The location is a beautiful off beaten path spot, and regulars say the drive is always totally and completely worth it. A retro cartoon smoking fish sign at the side of the road marks the spot. Guests can also say hello to a dog named nudge the terrier, described as adorable. One visitor picked up savory smoked salmon and left with cherished memories. Another bought a few pieces for a drive and called it the best decision of the day. Even little ones enjoyed it. It is a local gem and the best little roadside salmon shack.
