Pricey. Good food but pricey and not as well appointed as I would like for the $. The old Zazu was my kind of place this one is a little better for lunch than dinner. Convenient location clean comfortable-ish but I like a back on my stool and or a swivel with a little cushion if I am dolling out 50-100 dollars for one person

I absolutely love this place. YES it's pricey and YES a 20% gratuity is included but there's a reason for this. The food you're receiving is not like going to any other restaurant. It's farm to table and the quality is so true to that. So don't come here and complain about the fact that 20% gratuity is included. If you can't afford to leave a tip when you go out to eat, don't go out. To me this food is absolutely worth every penny. This is not a restaurant to go out to eat at every single night if you're on a budget but it's a great place to go for their happy hour or a special occasion. Just keep in mind that there is a reason that tip is included and don't be taking that out on the people who work there because it's not their fault!! The staff here is absolutely wonderful and every single time I've been here the service has been amazing.

Had the pleasure of eating there yesterday with some friends and the food is EXCELLENT - SO well-prepared! - and our server, Ashley, had a wonderful personality and was perfectly attentive! The maestro, Kirsten, also lovely and we'll definitely be back! If you haven't been you need to go! Thanks for a wonderful experience Zazu and crew!

We stopped into Zazu for some drinks and quick snack last weekend and we enjoyed our visit. It was nice that Zazu features a happy hour menu even on the weekends, so we ordered a few cocktails off that menu. The presentation was quite nice, my drink even had a garnish of caramel popcorn, which was a fun treat! For our quick nosh, we ordered the Asian wings and they were spicy but delicious! The restaurant got quite busy, which is to be expected but our server sort of forgot about us, since we were ordering a meal etc. That kind of swayed us to not order another round of cocktails unfortunately but the food looked fabulous so I am pretty sure we will be back for dinner. The décor of the restaurant was fun and very pig-centric and appeared to quite family friendly as well.

This spot has been on my list of places to go for 15+ years & it was sooo disappointing! We went mid-afternoon for 'Joyous' bar snacks which were not Joyous. The good: Korean Chicken Wings, glad I changed to the large order at the last minute because it was the only yummy thing we got. The Bad: Fries, really bland and bad. The 3 of us had them different ways. Kimchi Fries were really bad & I love Kimchi. Cesar Salad made with kale & the croutons were Giant! Husband tried to cut the croutons in half since they were way to big but they were so dried out he could not cut them in half. Random dressing came with both wings and fries, as thick as milk with herbs floating in it. Mediocre dressing at best, husband ended up pouring it over Cesar to make that more palatable. Son had bacon burger and fries, hard to mess up. Burger was all bun and shredded lettuce, looked like a burger from BJ's or something at best & already mentioned bad fries. Add a beer & a spicy margarita and you have $100 wasted on really lousy food. (20% tip included here on all tickets, Service was good) We have ordered bacon of the month from them in the past & I just ordered a bacon lovers basket from them for Valentine's Day and everything was well received. Would definitely not venture back her for a meal though.

I've lived in the Bay Area all of my life but I've never been to Sebastopol (I mean, why would I)... I can't believe how many cool spots are in this town. We were in town mid week during a massive rain storm. We were looking for a good bar and Zazu has one. Lots of seating, great atmosphere and I had a double order of the bacon appetizer...bacon and what you ask? Just straight freakin bacon, pretty strange. I ended up buying 2 pounds. I didn't have dinner there but the menu looked good

Location is the trendy Barlow and food was tasty but we paid over $300 for 4 of us to eat. The ambiance and service and portions didn't match the price tag.

Pork Heaven. I was recommended to try this place and boy and I glad! I love bacon and other pork goodness and this place delivered the full package with great food, great service and a very modern and welcoming atmosphere. Try the Pork Belly Buns, they are way too good and my favorite so far! All of the food was wonderful, but the Bacon Wrapped Dates and Pork Belly Buns will ensure a return visit. 5/5, wonderful meal.

Dined here last mon. (Actually just there for a quick bite and a í²couple of cocktails). Got there at like 7:45.... not a customer in the place...staff was actually sweeping up... i asked if the kitchen was still open, and after looking at each other, the waitress and bartender both said "yes". My friend and i sat at the bar, ordered a prosecco and a barrel aged walnut manhattan. Then ordered the ravioli (very small plate) and a half salad. We felt like the cooks were staring at us the whole time.... (i guess i can't blame them.... i'm sure they wanted to go home). I ordered 1 more manhattan (the highlight of my dining experience... they were exquisite!), then asked for the check at 8:20. $99.95 ?!?!, including a 20% gratuity.... again. Wtf ?!?... rather than make much of a scene, i paid the hundy, but felt really disappointed and it just got worse the more i would think about it... Please understand, i have eaten and drank literally all over the world, from hong kong to nyc, to vegas, to sf and pretty much never complain about price. This farm to table thing is great, in concept, but $35 for 6 ravioli is completely insane. Am i at the French Laundry ?!? Plus 20% tip sitting at the bar ?!?.... not another person in the place ?!? Good luck guys... I may pop in again for another manhattan, but i won't be eating again there anytime soon...

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but I loved this spot. We ordered their pizza special -- mushrooms + cheese -- and it was delicious. We ate every last slice. The space is very open and rustic -- a great spot to take large groups or families with kids. The food came out in a timely manner and our service was great.

The food here is absolutely delicious. You can tell the food is fresh and the cooks care about the product they are putting out. The service here was also great and it's located in the Barlow so can't really go wrong coming here.

One of my best friends was getting married next door at the Barlow Event Center. While she was getting prepped for the big day, my boyfriend and I popped in for a few drinks. The atmosphere was nice and breezy on a warm early-September day. We sat at the bar and the bartender serving us humored us by answering our questions about the various local spirits and giving us a taste of their housemade ginger beer - they use a slight fermentation process to add carbonation rather than mixing a ginger syrup with carbonated water (I prefer the later but I appreciated her sharing a taste with us). I really appreciated their use of local ingredients (I know it's common now but the Napa and Sonoma areas helped kick-start that as a thing so it's nice to see they're still doing it and taking advantage of what's around them). I started with the Mirror, Mirror - Sebastopol pink pearl apple-infused vodka, honey, sage, lemon. Super well balanced and tasty. Plus the apple slice as the garnish was a lovely touch. Then I had another one I am forgetting the name of (really should write these reviews before letting nearly 3 months pass, huh?) but it was similarly delicious and well presented, garnished with a preserved lime.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago. It had been a few years since we'd been and thought we'd give it another try. Very disappointed. We both ordered the fried chicken $30. The chicken was dry and had NO flavor. The best part of the entree was the greens. Not only were we unhappy with our meal we were charged a mandatory 20% tip. When I asked the manager why we were automatically charged a 20% tip for a party of two...she said it was so all the staff could be compensated and that it's written on the menu. Really? Who looks on the menu to see if they are going to be "pre billed" for a tip? We will not be back.
