“I would best describe this restaurant as hit or miss. For example, I had a chicken pot pie, featured as a smaller meal. Excellent. Golden flaky crust on top of a very flavorful chicken stew. The trout almandine was very average with a filet of trout with almonds on top of yellow rice and one 'roasted' carrot and one 'roasted' broccoline' both of which were mostly half done. The burger was basic and average. The vegetarian option, a roasted half acorn squash with quinoa was flavorful, but the three accompanying roasted carrots were raw. It also would have been better with some sort of sauce. The breakfast buffet looked like what is offered complimentary at many chain motels. We opted for the French toast, which was average. Since there are very limited dining options in Sequoia, you basically have to eat there.“
