“Wow. Throw away any idea of visiting other taco trucks in Bakersfield. Wife and I stopped for lunch. Carne asada .. fully loaded, onions, fresh guac, beans, and Cilantro.. outstanding!! The lovely ladies threw in free hot chocolate as well!“

“I absolutely love this place and come here just about weekly! Hands down the best Birria and carne asada I’ve had! I love their tacos and the girls are so sweet that work here. What makes me love this place so much is the post on their daily a Bible verse! I highly recommend this place!!“

We stop by Buttonwillow off I5 all the time coming and going from LA to Sac, so we frequent all the food vendors.I’m glad we decided to try this one, the food is seriously authentic (hard to find)! Something as simple as a bean tostada was sooo good! Freshly fried tostada and authentic beans…yummy! I couldn’t wait to receive my order. And my order did not disappoint, salsa flavors and just everything was good!!!I recommend stopping by next time you are driving by. Nice menu selection. I can’t wait to try more next time I stop by. Aside from the good flavors, they have handmade tortillas!!! ?“

“Yum! The reviews don't lie. We had shrimp & el pastor burritos which were well seasoned and delicious like everyone else had said! The food truck and cute covered sitting area is in the Chevron parking lot straight ahead when getting off the Buttonwillow exit from 5 North.Will definitely be our new go-to stop whenever traveling this route.“

“This has been the best taco spot I've been at for a good minute. The food was a straight 10. We had tacos de asada and tacos de tripa and a carne asada quesadilla. Very juicy steak not over seasoned. It was perfect. They were very generous with the portions of each item. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner who came to greet us. To me that is everything. They go above and beyond and I highly recommend. They also have seating next to the taco stand which very nice ambiance. If you had a chance to stop by do it. You won't regret it!“

“Tasty food and friendly service, Tacos J Torres is a great place to stop on the long between LA and the bay. Everything was good, but definitely try the quesabirria taco. Don't forget to ask for some consomme to dip the quesabirria (or easier yet, just drink some with every bite).Note: some of the dishes can get pretty drippy/messy. Fortunately there's a starbucks next door to clean up and grab a coffee for the road. (Alternatively, order one of the more car-friendly menu items!)“

“I travel to Los Angeles, CA at least once a week.I stopped in May 2023 and their food is as described very authentic, warm and delicious.I had a Carne Asada Plate and the Asada was seasoned good to taste a big plus tortillas echas a mano (handmade tortillas)“
