Jack Ranch Cafe has been our go-to stop On the way to and from Pismo. The food is great and the staff is very very friendly. Oh!!! The desserts are all home made . Cheesecakes , cobblers , pies. Today they had a choice of blueberry or Cherry cheese cake, Cherry Cobbler, lemon meringue and banana cream pie We always take ours to go because we are all to full after we eat their generous potions . If you’re traveling from Los Angeles to Monterey, this is a very good dining option on the way. There are not many dining options on route 46 but this is a very good one. The staff was very friendly. we shared a burrito grande which was probably enough food for three or four people. The kids had quesadilla and fries and they appeared to enjoy that very much. This place is amazing! Visually it looks like a cute country diner and the food is so delicious(I've eaten a lot of bland diner food in my life). The staff are wonderful people, especially Kris. We had such a wonderful conversation with her before we got back on the road. I didn't recognize it at first, we just thought let's give it a try.
