We had dinner last night at Trattoria to celebrate my little daughter’s birthday, and it was such a beautiful experience. Even though the restaurant was busy, the manager truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt special on her big day.
He took the time to check on us, made her feel important, and added such a personal touch to the evening. It meant so much to us as parents to see her so happy and excited.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was wonderful. Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Great Pizza......used to go often, but won't anymore. Ordered spaghetti with meatballs. the meatballs were hard as rocks, can't imagine how a cook could make them worse, and the spaghetti came served swamped in sauce. took away our interest to return.

Trattoria del Sole is a genuinely fine Italian dinner experience. I've always known that the way to tell the difference between an average restaurant and a better restaurant is the way they're calamari is cooked and presented. Calamari was perfect. Tender and mild. The arugula salad was quite fresh. The pasta was definitely in-house made. Perfectly served Al Dante with a spicy sauce that made the dish sublime. I will be back.
Great Italian food at an excellent price point. The service was excellent--leaving us alone when we wanted to talk, and totally responsive when we needed something. I have a group of 5 guys that use this restaurant for our twice a year luncheons. We keep going back--so that says a lot.
Love love love. Fresh bread, delicious and great food portions and lovely non pretentious atmosphere.

First time visiting this gem of a restaurant. Impeccable service and best Italian food I have had.
I searched for an Italian restaurant in Sherman Oaks and read reviews on about 7 of them. My research was rewarded by an excellent dining experience.
I had the branzino. Grilled to perfection! I love the house bread. Service was good. Great for taking the family!
First time here, which does speak to the fact that I enjoy the food. I normally order the octopus as an appetizer and enjoy the cioppino. My wife and mother-in-law enjoyed their chicken dishes with respect the atmosphere. It's pleasant, but the fact that two TV you're showing a football game in the basketball game takes away from a quiet evening in a restaurant when eyes are looking at the sets instead of enjoying conversation

Great little place, doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's nice & quaint. The food was marvelous, great taste and presentation.
Service was kind, prompt, and eager to help. The overall vibe of the place was lovely. The food, however, was disappointing (aside from the caesar salad and starter bread - both good). The chicken parmesan: meat was (mostly) tough. Nowhere near tender and juicy. Sauce was shockingly bland. The side penne was good, though. The bolognese pasta: Same. Very bland sauce. But cooked perfectly al dente and the meat was fresh. It just didn't come together because of the seasoning/sauce. Also, they didn't acknowledge anything about having a reservation (which mentioned a birthday).
