Trattoria del Sole & Market del Sole

Had a reservation. Got there and there were no tables. Was told that everyone else had a reservation and that I'd have to wait 30 minutes. Don't understand what the purpose of making a reservation was if it wasn't going to be honored.

We arrived early, 5:30, and found a quiet restaurant. The service and food were wonderful. Our party couldn't stop raving. Early is good; by 7 or so the restaurant began to fill up. But then of course because it's a great value so hard to come by today. A must for the lover of Italian.

Came in the evening, ordered Alfredo pasta, asked specifically for no greens or anything extra to be added, I got the pasta with shallots in it. Nowhere does it say shallots would be in the pasta, I was unable to eat it at all. The burrata pizza is okay, nothing special though. Service is nothing special either. Wouldn't come here again.

This a wonderful local restaurant. The food prepared by Chef Manuel is great. Our service was great as well. We have become regulars for the food and ability to each other talk.

Great place, great food, and fabulous service. Will always come back here even though it is not close to where I live.

Wow what an amazing hidden gem off of Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. The food was incredible. I got the Gnocchi with a gorgonzola mushroom cream sauce. It reminded me of my own mothers cooking maybe even a little bit better...but don't tell her I said that. My gf got the penne arrabiata with chicken and the portion was very large that she had another meal after packing her leftovers. Our server Yadira was very attentive was gave amazing service.

I highly recommend this place. They also have a great take out system if dining in isnt your thing.

My wife and I stopped for lunch on rare rainy Sunday and it was delicious, we ordered the burrata appetizer, buenisimo. The lasagna is my recommendation with the fresh pasta, out of this world. My wife also enjoyed the daily special made with beets. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Trattoria Del Sol is a neighborhood gem. Never rushed. Highly recommend the Chicken Marsala. Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my friend.

Service was off, forgot to enter in a couple entrees which left the table waiting for everyone. One person in our party became sick after dinner and the only person who ordered spaghetti with meatballs. We had hoped for more on our 1st visit.

OMG how come I never heard about this place before?? (Thank you OpenTable!) We were lucky we had made reservations because it really filled up fast--and now we know why--delicious food, gigantic portions, friendly service, & all at reasonable prices. I have tried cioppino at many restaurants but this was the best, and so completely packed with salmon, shrimp & calamari that I had to take some home. My daughter's chicken marsala is to-die-for scrumptious, and my husband absolutely loved his chicken Toscana. Our friend ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was huge, filling an entire platter with yum. His wife ordered the meatball appetizer and the 3 meatballs were so big that it became her entree. We will 100% be back soon!

What a wonderful hidden gem in the valley, food was absolutely delicious and authentic. If you’re looking for yummy Italian comfort food you need to try this place. And the portions are huge, amazing value for money.

Where Italian charm meets Sherman Oaks chic. The pasta is homemade heaven, and the market has all the fancy stuff your pantry craves. Service is good, though a bit Hollywood slow. A great spot for carb-loading with a touch of flair!

Come here for the relaxing atmosphere. Food isn't the best. Not bad. Just not great by any means.
