“What a wonderful local saloon! I've been riding my bike around the town for a little while. I saw the owner sitting out on the lovely porch. It was definitely cocktail hour for me. He invited me in and I had a wonderful glass of Sauvignon Blanc as I sat with him on the porch. During the next 10 minutes six more folks came in for a drink. It was wonderful to meet so many locals with such friendly and engaging conversation. My second glass of wine was a wonderful Zinfandel from the fair play area near my home and Carson City. This is a wonderful place to meet and enjoy a libation and good company.“

“We stayed 1 night at this hotel during our hike. We was quite impressed by the diner, perfectly executed and very tasty. The chef cooked bolognese pasta with a tasty salade with wathermelon, blue cheese and strawberry. He let us try his Bugatini with an amazing garlic sauce.
