“Expect a beach shack experience. Do not come here looking for a romantic setting or personal service. When you come in, you will get in a line and place an order. Drinks are ordered here as well. You can sit wherever you want and wait for your number to be called. You pick up your food and drinks from the counter. I think they have a great selection of seafood. I am super biased when it comes to Baja style shrimp tacos because I make my own and home, but this placed nailed it. They are not stingy with the protein and they are heavy with the toppings. The chipotle cream sauce is good but very spicy. Ceviche was awesome and again, plenty of protein on your tostada and a nice hefty serving of avocado. The miches were good! We had the chamoy mango and the tamarindo. You can order taco boxes and they also cater. Great selection of hot sauces.“
“Been here a couple of times now. The food is consistent with flavor, texture, and temperature. The cashiers have been nice and knowledgeable. The location has also been consistent in cleanliness each time I went. I like the variety menu choices, especially since it has an Impossible beef alternative for those that want the best beef/meat alternative that tastes good still. It is a good alternative to other taco/burrito locations. Prices are competitive. Pro-Tip from a frugal person here: sign up for their rewards and newsletter to get free food, BOGO and codes. Then it would definitely give you the most bang for your buck for this category of food. “By Far the Best Chili's I have gone to. I am the Deliver Guy whose been showing up to all the Chili's restaurants to deliver all your new stools. In the past 2 weeks I have been delivering to many Chili's restaurants in the surrounding areas LA county, OC, IE, and so on.This Chili's team in the city of Downey off Lakewood Blvd are well managed by Melinda. She and her team are extremely kind and humble. They greeted me and treated me with the up most respect and kindness so much that they even offered to help in whatever i might have needed help with and even offered beverage and a meal once i left.I am completely grateful to Melinda and her entire team. You have all done a great job maintaining this location i can see why it gets so packed compared to all the other locations i visited. I will definitely be returning to visit as a costumer here and I would like to encourage other to do so as well. They will treat you right and take care of all your needs. “12/27/23 Just came here for the cookie butter biscoff shake. From Del Taco website:Creamy vanilla shake blended with Biscoff® Cookie Butter and Biscoff® Cookie Crumbles.I've been wanting to try it for weeks! Yep, it's cookie butter flavor alright! I ordered a regular size and got through half of it with no problem. I'm struggling to finish the rest of it. If you love the taste of cookie butter then I recommend this 10/10. I like it but don't think I would get it too often. 8/10.“
