“Had reservations for Friday at 6:30 PM for 8 people. It was our first visit to Hawg Heaven BBQ. We were seated promptly. The service was efficient. Everyone commented on how tasty the dish they ordered: Pulled pork tacos, beef brisket sandwich, beef brisket plate, the combination plate (ribs, brisket). The evening was fun listening to crooner Douglas R. and eating BBQ.“
“Only thing more wonderful than their tasty entrees, The crew and specifically Linda came through for us in a huge way... Holding on to our lost car key fob, which are ridiculously cost prohibitive. i.e We dropped our key during the torrential downpour on Monday Feb 5th 2024. Having exhausted all possibilities in a 24 hour period, we gave one last grasp of hope by walking into Linda's store, and after inquiring of the key, Linda reached in to her magic drawer, and pulled our out Key.... “This place was recommended to us for their jalapeño cornbread but the food is also delicious. We went here for lunch and got the brisket and rib plate which came with bread and potato salad that we decided to share. We also ordered the cornbread which is tasty and not too spicy. The place itself is not fancy and about average when it comes to the price.“
“Go here, no need to read anymore reviews or research any other restaurant. This place is the one. We went to the Glendale Blvd location and ordered Chicken, Brisket, & Trinity tacos and they were out of this world. 10/10. Everything here, including their tortillas, are homemade. We also ordered their Quesadilla (10/10) and their Loaded Queso (12/10), everything was incredible. It came out fast with two house salsas. They were both a great paring with the tacos and quesadillas. The overall place and service is a vibe, very welcoming. On their wall it says “Welcome Home” and it feels that way. It felt like you were in a safe space with welcoming people and excellent food. As we were leaving, I felt obligated to thank an employee for the memorable experience they gave my wife and I. He was appreciative and then 10 seconds later as we were walking down the street another employee stop us. They asked if we’re visiting, which I told them we were. The employee proceeded to tell us we needed to try their famous cookies and handed us two. It was an act of kindness that I will not forget. Can’t wait to be eating here in less than 24 hours. “Nice place with some decent food, but nothing mind blowing. Considering the price paid, I've had better at food trucks and hole in the wall type of places. But it's a great place to bring people who are squeamish about eating at restaurants that might be far below their paygrade.“

I was staying at the Hilton, don't have transportation, went walking and stumbled across this place.. it was closing time but with out hesitation they welcomed me in and let me order not only one plate but 2.. extremely grateful.. thx u !!!“
