“The best pastries I've had. We travel all over and have never found anywhere like this. The freshness and detail put into their products show up. I hadn't been here in 5 years and came back all was the same if not better. The atmosphere of this town is amazing and without Olsens it would never be the same. I've been coming here for 27 years and now I live in Cali again ill be back monthly.“

“I was here 4/6 for the first time. I came here because I saw that people commented that they had gluten-free baked goods, and I am an instant fan. The good or bad thing for me is that I live over 100 miles from here...so, I will have more reasons to vist family in Santa Maria just to make a stop here. So, what I got was the peanut butter cookie (best I've ever had with or w/o wheat). I also the super food latte w/beet root and raw cocoa...yum❣ Next time I'm adding and espresso shot to it. Ibrought home two different slices of their bread too... that I shouldn't have but tried anyway... rye w/walnuts and hard sourdough. Both tasty good. 🤩🤗🥖☕🍪“

“We enjoyed our visit to Danish Mill Bakery. Not only are the pastries and desserts delicious, the customer service is impeccable. We were on a driving trip through CA and my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch at the bakery. We did not realize this until we were two hours south. I received a phone call from Emily at the bakery who was so kind and was willing to mail the watch to our home. We can't thank you enough!“

“I eat here for breakfast whenever I am in Solvang. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the lack of outdoor seating during COVID. Wife and I ordered our favorite Danish Omelette with Medisterpolse and a side of aebleskivers. This place is always consistent. Can't wait to go back after COVID is over.“

“Canolli $10, apricot tart, $10. Canolli's flavor is okay - better and cheaper in Rome. The apricot tart is okay - just doesn't jump out. It's the only shop with pastries that stays open after 7 PM, so, in a smart move, has a lock on the market, and it has a clean well lit courtyard that bumps up the overall score to four. Prices are in line with the rest of the adorable tourist trap that is Solvang.“

I ordered the Benedict sando- the egg intentionally over hard to not be runny and interfere with the creamy goodness of hollandaise whipped with scallion cream cheese and a tomato slice to balance. I left the place wanting more!“

All the desserts were so delicious and it seems like they change menu throughout the seasons. Since it was a limited time menu. Very clean establishment and the staff is extremely friendly. You order on one side and pick up at the other counter.

Pricing is extremely fair and the desserts were delicious. I was extremely surprised.“
