“The best pastries I've had. We travel all over and have never found anywhere like this. The freshness and detail put into their products show up. I hadn't been here in 5 years and came back all was the same if not better. The atmosphere of this town is amazing and without Olsens it would never be the same. I've been coming here for 27 years and now I live in Cali again ill be back monthly.“

“I was here 4/6 for the first time. I came here because I saw that people commented that they had gluten-free baked goods, and I am an instant fan. The good or bad thing for me is that I live over 100 miles from here...so, I will have more reasons to vist family in Santa Maria just to make a stop here. So, what I got was the peanut butter cookie (best I've ever had with or w/o wheat). I also the super food latte w/beet root and raw cocoa...yum❣ Next time I'm adding and espresso shot to it. Ibrought home two different slices of their bread too... that I shouldn't have but tried anyway... rye w/walnuts and hard sourdough. Both tasty good. 🤩🤗🥖☕🍪“

“We enjoyed our visit to Danish Mill Bakery. Not only are the pastries and desserts delicious, the customer service is impeccable. We were on a driving trip through CA and my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch at the bakery. We did not realize this until we were two hours south. I received a phone call from Emily at the bakery who was so kind and was willing to mail the watch to our home. We can't thank you enough!“

“Canolli $10, apricot tart, $10. Canolli's flavor is okay - better and cheaper in Rome. The apricot tart is okay - just doesn't jump out. It's the only shop with pastries that stays open after 7 PM, so, in a smart move, has a lock on the market, and it has a clean well lit courtyard that bumps up the overall score to four. Prices are in line with the rest of the adorable tourist trap that is Solvang.“

“This was such a cool spot! My husband and I were spending the weekend in Solvang, and our Uber driver highly recommended this place- so glad we followed her recommendation. The cafe has a very unique chic-earthy vibe, the guy at the register (possibly owner?) was super helpful with menu decisions, and the food we got was absolutely delicious. My husband got the classic bacon and egg bagel sandwich, which was exceptional. I got the birria and egg bagel, which was this amazing combination of flavors that I’d never experienced before and that worked together perfectly. And it was only maybe a 6-minute drive from Solvang. 10/10, I would go out of my way to go here again if I was anywhere near the area.“

“Overall this was a pretty fun experience for us. At least as far as a trip to Starbucks goes. Yes, we ventured a trip to the casino looking for the Grains & Grounds coffeehouse bakery which soon turned into a slightly confused, dark & flashy, casino lit, cigar smoke infused, hunt and discovery of Chumash's back-of-the-house, hole-in-the-wall, Starbucks gem! I'll admit I was disappointed at realizing our Google maps wild goose chase ended in finding a 'boutique bakery/coffee conglomerate consolidation. But as early morning, albeit last minute, adventures go we still got a lot of enjoyment in playing around with a delightfully glittered, Almond Honey Cake fluff and a dark chocolate & gold gilded Cake Pop! Wow!!
But while I can't say either confection knocked my socks off in the taste category, I will give full marks for imagination and whimsical presentation. So I'll conclude by admitting that I'm deeply curious to sample whatever else they've got for next time.“
