Are you kidding me?! This place has great ambiance, great food and great service. They have so many healthy add ons at reasonable prices to both bowls and ramen, and it was so delicious. Portions and quality of ingredients were perfect. 10/10 will go again and would recommend. P.S. yes you can get it to go as take out and yes it’s just as good!

the wife and i were lucky enough to eat at Ramen Kotori this past Saturday -Jan 17 and it was delicious.
the food was fresh and made with locally sourced ingredients. we were able to chat a little with the owner Francsico. he was friendly and answered questions we had about their menu and history there at the corner next to the ice cream windmill.
a good selection of yummy food and great service. seating is a little limited but you can always take away if you need to. the whole town is very dog friendly and Ramen Kotori is no different. we would definitely eat there again the next time we visit the Danish Capitol of America

Went on a Wednesday right after they opened, not busy at all. I got the crispy tofu and the uni hand rolls. The staff was so nice and service was quick. The food was super fresh and flavorful. I need to come back.

Food is good, but do not look at the pictures of the menu as they have not changed it and will charge you anyway. Attitude was poor, not accommodating, and not showing any remorse. Likely will not be going back.
We went for dinner on a rainy evening. We were seated promptly (party of 3). The shoyu ramen tasted too much of nori, way too overpowering. The children's vegetable ramen was just ok, very bland even for children's standards. The gyoza was the best part of our meal. Decent beer and sake selections. Service was excellent. Overall the taste of the food was a disappointment, which was surprising considering the long line of people waiting to eat there throughout the day.

Recommended dishes: Shoyu Ramen with Pork Belly
They were great. Its a small shop with mostly outdoor seating but they had heaters and umbrellas so it was still great despite the chill and the rain. Their ramen was very good. They also poured quite an ample glass of sake for the price. All in all l, would definitely recommend if you lien ramen or want to try it for the first time. Its definitely non-spice friendly. If you like spicy ramen you will want to add a little chili oil for the heat. Noddles were perfectly done as well.

Kimchi fried rice with pork belly and crispy garlic is a must get!
Don't forget to ask for the crispy garlic
Shoyu ramen is not bad considering the location.

Wow. this little place is a real gem for Solvang. We were passing through on our way North and stopped here for dinner. We had pork belly bao buns, spicy tan tan and crispy rice cakes. They were all 5* and SO delicious. I wish it was closer to SF, cuz we would eat there every week!!

I’m not any sort of Ramen expert, but that was awesome, delicious, fresh. The seating area is really comfortable and clean. The staff is really friendly. Seems like a great spot to come back to again and again.

Absolutely amazing ramen! Best ramen I’ve had since moving to California. The noodles and veggies are so fresh, you can taste the quality in the ingredients.
They also have an extensive menu with other great options that I am eager to come and try!
I’ve also heard from locals that the dessert is to die for (didn’t have room in my belly for it cuz the ramen portion is MASSIVE)
Definitely worth the money!
