Amazing service and delightful city. Woman who gave us our ice cream was very kind and the people around were very welcoming.

Have a little ice cream romance here. Fine ice cream since the late 1940s. Old tradition. Always very welcoming. Gift stores nearby. Must have this ice cream when visiting Solvang, CA. Excellent customer service. Popular and tourist stop. Everyone loves them. Yes, credit cards accepted. Around $6 for a single scoop cone these days. Pay more for more scoops. No public restrooms onsite at this shop. Order onsite while waiting in line. Beautiful cute spot with good views for taking photos of your ice cream. Come on a sunny day or the photos you take on cloudy gray sky days may turn out less ideal. My hands and mouth were focused more on eating ice cream, so I almost forgot to take photos of it. Ice cream represents freedom and happiness at any age and time. It's always the moment of enjoyment that counts. Delicious and as good and enjoyable as it looks. The place has been here forever. It's a landmark of Solvang. I always come back for traditional chocolate chip, strawberry, or chocolate ice cream flavors. Wide selections to choose from. Pick what you like. Families and friends will love. They never disappoint. It's all part of the experience. Get 10% off if you have trolley ticket for discount. If you're itching for ice cream in town, definitely stop by while you're here. Worth every lick and bite.

Hours are non-standard from an American standpoint, but in Europe it was pretty common for places to have "odd hours." Great service! AMAZING ice cream. A variety of flavors that make you want to come back for more. Affordable as well.

I like this place and always get ice cream from them before getting on the trolley! The service is good as well!

Visitation Rights: Been to this place twice when I was visiting Solvang. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restroom: No restrooms. Ice Cream Program: They offer ice cream from McConnell's. Location: Located in a corner of a small plaza. Wait Time: Depending on the time you go, there might be a wait. Ambiance/Decor: Not much ambiance, because this shop is a take and go type of place. There are some public tables and chairs to sit in the plaza. During Christmas, they have a couple of nut cracker statues standing guard outside to take pictures with. Order Of Operations 1) Get in line and pay 2) Pick up your ice cream from another window and leave. Service: Service was pretty good and the staffer/owner (might be the owner) was friendly. Ice cream came out at a decent time. Ice Cream Of Choice: Can't go wrong with any flavor. I've had their cookies and cream and pecan. Very good and safe. Solvang Trolley Ice Cream Parlor For Thought: I'm open to visiting again and hopefully try other ice cream flavors.

I love this place. Their earl gray ice cream is incredible. Every time I go to Solvang, I go here; it’s a must. I haven’t tried anything else of theirs, so I can’t say anything about them. They are in a pretty hidden place though, so you will have to look to find it. I highly recommend this place the next time you’re in Solvang.

Nice little spot for ice cream and hot/cold drinks. The flavors are good, and customer service was good as well. They have appealing flavors for the drinks. The horchata Frappuccino I tried was pretty good. It's almost a little hidden at first since it's just a small window you order through and it's kind of in a corner. There is one bench nearby but other than that expect it to be to-go. After getting our drinks we went onto the trolley tour with them and it was enjoyable.

We had the pistachio ice cream after a wait of around 15-20 mins and it was disappointing at best! It tasted more like vanilla ice cream mixed with raw pistachios that had slightly gone sour

Despite the long lines for ice cream, the staff here remained friendly and accommodating. The taste of the ice cream was quite good, and experiencing Danish ice cream was a delightful treat. If you don't mind a wait, the friendly service and tasty ice cream make it worth the visit for a unique treat.

The ice cream is definitely worth the wait in line! The staff was friendly and helped make recommendations on flavors. We went late, so they were sold out of several flavors. We ordered salted cream and cookies, snickerdoodle and eggnog, and earl grey and shortbread. They were all delicious!

Fun little ice cream scoop shop tucked in a corner in Hamlet Square. They have LOTS of McConnell's ice cream flavors; a few were sold out, but with their selection, you're sure to find something else you'll love. There isn't any seating around; this is a true order-and-go shop, but there's a park not too far away if you want to sit and enjoy. The shops around the ice cream parlor very pointedly mention they do not want you to bring ice cream in, so don't seek a seat or distraction there. They have great people working and getting ice cream to you QUICK! Like many places in Solvang, there was a line, but with all of the options for ice cream and coffee, it's understandably going to take a minute to decide once you're at the counter. It's a pretty basic scoop shop, but it definitely hits the spot if you're looking for some ice cream!

Great tasting ice cream and lots of varieties! We got the flavor: cranberry & apple cider and strawberry. LOVED the flavor on both and the strawberry bits were tasty! Also got the horchata latte to warm up and it was the perfect choice! Stop by here for some bold and unique flavors of ice cream.
