We ate here in November 2019 (pre-Covid!) on our last evening of a wonderful trip to Hawaii and Sonoma wine country. We were leaving the next day from Oakland Airport; we had finished an amazing wine tasting at Bedrock in town, there was a festival going on in the town plaza with jillions of people celebrating. From the amazingly friendly staff to great food, Happy Garden does Chinese food the right way and always great tasting. The ability to add or subtract items in a dish makes even the pickiest person happy. Definitely recommend to stop in or order out.

Coming from SF Bay, I am spoiled when it comes to local restaurants. In Sonoma, there's a lot of hoity toity restaurants for tourists, but not tons for local people who just want some good food. This place is GOOD FOOD. I especially love the chow fun and spicy double mushroom!The people who run it are really really lovely. Salt of the Earth. So grateful for this local place. I feel very at home when I'm there.
