Great Mexican-American ice cream flavors, such as passion fruit, soursop, strawberry, and more. All of their flavors tasted very fresh and creamy.

La Michoacana Ice Cream is a cute ice cream shop with natural ice creams. The flavors are pretty sweet and intense, with many unusual fruit flavors like rose petals ice cream and guanabana soursop sorbet. They use real fruits, so watch out for pits still in the sorbet. The hand churned vanilla with just picked fresh peaches is spectacular. The best paletas feature fresh fruit, cane sugar, and a tiny bit of water, with passion fruit being a winner. There are over 25 different ice cream flavors, plus unique ice cream bars like Rice Horchata flavored ice cream bar with small bits of rice for nice texture. Chocolate ice cream is very creamy and fresh with a deep chocolate flavor. Cappuccino almond ice cream is good, though the texture isn't always smooth with bits of ice. The service is excellent, staff is friendly, and prices are very reasonable—about $15-20 for four people. Nice outdoor bench seating is available. La Michoacana is the new standard bearer for ice cream.
