Insomnia Cookies

YUM! Was worried they were gonna be ran out of Vegan cookies especially because i came a bit later (8:30pm), to my surprise there was plenty and some other yummy options for non vegans. The portion size is very large for an ice cream sandwich ( i noticed from other orders) The vegan cookies were pretty good if you like crunchy cookies. Overall, would come back again! Maybe they could add some vegan ice cream options.

We stopped by around midnight and we had probably 7 different cookies and they were all soft, warm, huge and delicious! We also tried some ice cream that was delicious. Not to mention Adriana was very kind and helpful. If you’re having a late night sweet craving this place is definitely worth a try.

Diego has such great service! Was super knowledgeable on the menu and gave us great reccs. Would love to come back!

Beautiful, warmer than usual winter day in South Lake Tahoe. Stopped into Insomnia Cookies for a warm delicious chocolate chip cookie. After ordering 6 deluxe cookies (Oatmeal Walnut Chocolate Chip- chefs kiss 😘), decided to indulge into trying their ice cream. As our wonderful hostess, Karen, offered samples of flavors, she introduced this signature flavor chocolate chip dream. This sample was not only delicious it had my brain in overdrive! Not because of its fabulous texture and taste, but this chocolate based ice cream is PURPLE!

We visited a cookie café and overall it was okay. The cookies are worth trying if you really crave something sweet, but the ice cream was disappointing. Out of the four flavors we tried, only one was actually good. Everything was extremely sweet — a real sugar overload and guaranteed carb coma 😂

I am visiting from out of town, so I don't know the owners. This is an unbiased review of some amazing cookies and ice cream. Insomnia is FAR superior to their competitor across the street. The ice cream is delicious on its own. The cookies are delicious and served warm. Pair them together and prepare for heaven on earth. The people who work here are very friendly as well. None of the aforementioned conpliments apply to the aforementioned competitor. If you want cookies, ice cream, or both.-- Insomnia all day every day.
