The burrito was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. The salad tasted a bit old and wilted, and the beans could really use more seasoning to bring out their flavor. The vegan meat was hard to notice — it would help if it had a stronger presence in both texture and taste. I also missed the freshness that cilantro usually adds, and the pico de gallo could be a lot more vibrant. With some tweaks, this could be much better.

This place has a whole vegan section with lots of options. 3 different vegan meats, sour cream, and cheese. Very good, authentic, good service, and big portions.

I’ve been coming to Tahoe for years, and I never knew about this place. It’s so delicious and so vegan friendly!!! In south lake that’s kind of un heard of. This place is great!! The staff are also super sweet:)

This place is incredible. 10/10 would recommend over all the other restaurants in Lake Tahoe. I am so impressed. I got the wet burrito half and half sauces and it was so good. They are friendly and good service.

Maria's was fantastic to work with and the food was wonderful. I lined up a fajita take out order for 14 people, for a wedding family dinner party. The communication was wonderful, no issues and the food was awesome. The quantity of food was more than we expected which made great leftovers.

Everything was fresh and delicious, made with love that was tangible by all the empty plates on our table. If you don’t order the guacamole, you’re going to miss out!

So delicious! The handmade corn tortillas are delicious. The service was incredible. She didn’t write down our order and everything came out fast, perfect, and fresh. I had the Al pastor and carnitas tacos and both were delicious. We loved their salsa too!

Got the Oscar's Tacos, two fish and one shrimp. Crispy, filled with cabbage and topped with a fresh avacado slice, very tasty and remi ded me getting tacos in Cabo.
Did not come with rice or bean but chips included.
Cozy place with only 9 tables. When I was there over half the tables were Spanish speaker with a couple families.
Being from the Bay Area with incredible Mexican food I complained that most the latin food nearby was "Tahoe good". These fish tacos stands up to any I have eaten before.

I love Mexican food but it's sometimes hard to find vegan friendly restaurants. So when I found Maria's we decided to try it. There was an entire vegan menu with several options and protein choices. I chose the vegan tacos with the potato/chorizo mix. This was delicious and they gave me a green taco sauce as well as a spicy sauce for them. It came with black beans and cilantro rice, which were OK but not outstanding. The star of the show was the incredible guacamole with house made tortilla chips (salsa too). My meat eater family liked their meals too.
