Maria's Mexican Restaurant

What an awesome place to dine out for lunch. I had the carne asada burrito. Was delicious and nicely grilled well. Loved the mild green sauce with it too. Can’t wait to come back and try the tacos.

Delicious and authentic. Handmade tortillas. Tacos were bomb. Rice and beans were super flavorful. Horchata was some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend 🤘🏻

We got chicken fajitas, chicken enchiladas and veggie burrito. Large portions and excellent tasting

We had our lunch today at Maria’s and loved everything we ordered. Mango margarita and Pina Agua Fresca was really refreshing and nice. We ordered veggie enchiladas with red sauce, veggie quesadillas and both had very good filling of veggies and good flavor. Cilantro rice had lots of flavor and black beans was good as well. Highly recommend this spot for Vegetarians. Service was great, restrooms were clean and the outside dining area is awesome during summer. Friend had a shrimp in that spicy sauce and they said that was great as well

We have been driving right by this place for years, no longer!!! Food was delicious! Everything we had in our party of 6! Chili relleno, camarones al diablo, burritos, tacos, quesadillas. Rice was amazing! Kids loved Horchata. We will be back soon!

Amazing mexican food! Was spot on for what we were looking for while we were in South Tahoe. Service was a little slow, but in the end totally worth it. Highly recommend.

Passing through the area and decided to stop here for a quick meal. Not disappointed at all. The California burrito was delicious. Everyone was so nice.

Food was pretty good! We had some enchiladas and some tacos.

If you are in Tahoe you have to visit Maria's Restaurant. The owner herself goes to each and every table to ask them how is everything.

Vegan choices were great and so yummy...service was wonderful

Amazing service! The crew sat us quickly, had chips on the table waiting for us, served us immediately and the food was awesome. We are going back tomorrow!

Tiny restaurant, very few tables, long wait, pricey, tiny menu with no a la carte menu and no kid menu.
