The food was incredible. Some of the best ribs and fries I’ve had in a very long time. We came to do Karaoke and found some amazing food. The Karaoke, however, is what turned us off. Being told by the KJ that we would have to pay a $5 cover charge (discounted because we had eaten dinner) was so off putting that we decided to leave. If the cover had been listed on the website or Facebook or instagram, we might have decided to go anyways, but considering we had already paid for...
Ate at Rojos 30 minutes after we married 31 years ago. Visited South Lake Tahoe again 2-5 Oct 2024. Just happened to notice Rojos was still there as we drove by, so made plans to eat there that night. The service was terrific. The surf and turf superb (portions huge), and trip down memory lane was a blast. We highly recommend Rojos for great atmosphere, great food, and down to earth people.
We had a good time. The service was nice, and the atmosphere had a local feel to it. The Ribeye was excellent, and the half chicken was great. It's nothing fancy, but it was a relaxing lunch during a busy weekend. They had a tv going with a sporting event playing.
